People were saying that Tatum is a dog and he was just born with it. I disagree i think Tatum's "dog" was grown and cultivated. Tatum had Coach K at Duke yelling at him to be great and shoot the ball. Coach K said he would yell at Tatum at half time to not just settle for good. Tatum had Ime telling him not to wait and be great in the NBA. There were people that would put that battery in his back to make him believe he was that dog. I think Tatum is suffering from not having Ime tell him he is that dude. just my theory. I think Ime going to put that battery in Jalen's back. Jalen needs to be motivated to be great. some players need that dog cultivated like Jalen and some are born with it like Jimmy Butler. again another theory.
Tatum is to inconsistent. He would drive and flail all over the place. Tries too hard to be like Kobe. I still remember when Kobe played us at home when Yao was still here. It was a regular season game but still very competitive. I was telling my brother that he will likely make it and win the game against us. Turns out I was right. Kobe had the killer instinct that put the fear in the players and opposing fans. I don’t see that from Tatum. He doesn’t have a go to move or a consistent killer jumper.
