1. Grant is making $4.3 mil this year. Though he's a RFA, for the market he's criminally underpaid. We're not saying he's a $20m per player, but he's definitely deserving of a pay raise (for his skill set). 2. BOS has to reserve cap to extend Brown, so if their owner cheaps out, and because of out deep they are; they could be willing to let Grant go. 3. Grant plays defense (and decent on 3's). Perfect for really any NBA team, but especially with the Rockets where we have dire need of spacing. Has re-sell value if we, later, want to trade Grant. 4. Has not just familiarity with Ime, but under Ime was given more consistent minutes. Although I like Mazzula, Mazzula has been freezing Grant out. 5. Grant is not old, but young enough where he has valuable experience (including playoff finals). A useful vet, if you will. Give Grant a reasonable offer.
C's had trouble landing 3's to counter MIA's zone, but is using transition off of turnovers to get lead back.
I disagree, he had no choice but to land that weird because Smart stuck his foot out in the middle of his landing zone, causing his leg to do a weird thing once he was done planting. If anything, it should have been a foul on Smart, but of course, the NBA rarely looks at what caused the followup.
nobody caused him to sweep his leg after he flopped, it was a good attempt to draw the 3 pt foul but it was very very dirty by butler
