Who is Ben Sullivan? He is just one of the best shooting coach in the NBA. He is good friends with Ime and Ime hired him in Boston. Not only Ben Sullivan is going to help Amen Thompson with his shooting this year, but he will help Jabari Smith and Alperen Sengun with their shooting as well.

Ben Sullivan is known to help Giannis in Milwaukee with his shooting. Giannis could not shoot a lick until Ben Sullivan helped him and everybody give credit to Ben Sullivan. This year, Ben Sullivan has helped Boston with their shooting, especially Derrick White 3 point shooting this year. Amen Thompson plays like LaMelo Ball without a shot. Amen Thompson has elite talent and has ALL STAR potentials he just cannot shoot now.

Once Ben Sullivan help Amen Thompson with his shooting we have a potential ALL STAR PLAYER!
LaMelo plays like Amen, they have: feel for the game, vision, athleticism and elite passing. We need to draft a player who has elite talent and potential to be a ALL STAR. We need a point guard! Amen has elite talents(LaMelo Ball) and we will soon have Ben Sullivan….we can draft a ALL STAR PLAYER.

Ben Sullivan is with Boston at this time but when Miami embarrass and beat Boston in this series, he is leave and Ime will hire him. Ben and Ime are good friends and they are from the same place in Portland. Everybody knows Ime is going to hire his friend. Rockets never had a shooting coach and that explains a lot….. so when he see Jabari, Sengun and Amen Thompson shooting great FG% and 3 points% this year remember this name…….Ben Sullivan

Everywhere he been….. players shooting has improved…..watch

Is it confirmed? Ime is poaching Ben, didn't hear that Ben agreed.

Also; the financial incentive has to be high. He's already an assistant. Coming here is a lateral move... maybe even a downgrade (a contender team to a rebuild). Is Tilman opening up the wallet?

fascinating you bring up Giannis as a source of improvement when his best long range shooting season came in his rookie year, his mechanics got busted after that.

How unimaginative, here's some other super-athletes who didn't pan out thanks to poor shooting:

    Michael Carter Williams
    Michael Kidd Gilchrist
    Josh Jackson
    Marvin Bagley III
    Dante Exum

    And so many more!

They are good friends, Ben Sullivan would not been in Boston without Ime hired him. Coach Pop hired Ben Sullivan because Ime asked him to hire him. Ben Sullivan went to Milwaukee because he followed Budenhzoler. Ime and Ben is from Portland and they are good friends. Ime helped him to be hired in San Antonio and Boston so I believe Ben will come to Houston to help Ime….many insiders are saying it is a done deal after Boston lose.

Giannis’s shot was broken, busted and laid to the side until Ben helped him…..everybody give Ben credit….Rockets will finally have a shooting coach….Thank God for Ime……and the Rockets fan say…..Amen!

Arguably Amen is a teller Westbrook with less shooting.

I mean there probably is a lot of context missing here. Notice that atrocious efg% his rookie year while still having a higher 3 pt percentage than prime Giannis?

Ya that tells me his rookie year he barely took any and when he did it was wide open looks.

Giannis is by no means a knock down shooter today but he definitely takes a lot more "stupid" contested threes than when he first joined the league.

His EFG% went up when he put on weight and started dunking every other possession.

As for where I'm getting my Giannis rookie jumper statement from:

What? Giannis FG% and 3 point shooting was up that year when he won the championship because of Ben Sullivan. Everybody knows San Antonio has helped players with their shot…he was part of that. He has helped Derrick White with is 3 point shooting this year.

of course Giannis shooting sucks now…Ben Sullivan is in Boston. He is a top GURU shooting coach in the NBA

30% from 3 on low volume and 68.5% FT% isn't a success story, I'm perplexed as to why you still use Giannis as your example.

The only parallels I see between Giannis and Thompson is that both needed a late growth spurt to 6'11" to become viable star players.
