if you wanna take on poole, i'd consider something like poole, kaminga, future unprotected 1st for nothing (or kpj or nix or whatever), no way i'm giving assets for that contract
GSW deep into lux tax. If we were to take Poole, we should be compensated instead for giving relief. Say if we give them a better contact like KPJ, Tate, + filler, they have to add something worthwhile.
You are overrating Poole. The Warriors are dying to unload his contract (no extension needed). You are giving up way too much in the GS trade.
It made sense for them at the time. Even prioritize the extension over older guys like Draymond. Contract year is a weird thing in the NBA.
We need to draft Amen as a backup point guard and let Harden lead our team to the playoffs, while Amen take notes. Amen would be awesome with Tari, Martin and KPJ….THAT BENCH WOULD BE CRAZY ATHLETIC
I think Dame & Harden is likely even if I don't personally like it. Tilman wants Harden back but Harden would want another vet. I could see us dealing Jalen, #20, and some of the Brooklyn picks for him. You could then take Cam and have a lineup like this: PG: Lillard / Washington SG: Harden / Porter, Jr. / Christopher SF: Martin, Jr. / Whitmore PF: Smith, Jr. / Eason C: Sengun / Garuba / Kaminsky
The owner LOVES Harden and wants him to train the young guys. I’m not crazy about Harden but he will help us to get to the playoffs and help the kids to mature. Also, GM Stone loves Tall, Athletic point guards. Amen is 6’7 and 212 lbs…the guy is big and strong. He is crazy in a pick n roll plays. Forget Wemby, I notice if you get physical with him he will back down, he does not like the heat under the basket
