I dont get it either. If we facilitate bridges to Portland, but give them back their pick next year, we are giving up a pick that is probably in the top eight. They will suck without Bridges.

Although we have only acquired Tari via Harden so far, the meat of that trade is the next 3-4 years. If anything, I am trying to trade them the 2026 pick back just to ensure that we get one premium asset out of them next year and then a very good swap in 2025.

Totally disagree with you, Bridges as the lead guard and another year of development under a proper coach setting a proper heirarchy and we will have REAL information on whom is the DUDE on the team.

Right now the dude is/could be

    Jalen
    KPJ
    Bari
    Sengun

WE DON'T NEED MORE KIDS On this team - not this year not next year, TRADE the draft capital for ACTUAL all star level players....our drafting should be done......for the next 3-4 years we don't need anyone.....through the draft.

I’d be ok with Amen if he were to be a similar player to Simmons. I think his dedication to the game is far superior to Simmons and would bet he’s not as mentally feeble.

I would do this, I would include the Clippers pick and their choice of KJ Martin, KPJ, Tate as well. Only for Scoot though, pass on Miller.

I don't see Brooklyn getting a better offer for Bridges, but it's obviously contingent on whether they're ready to blow things up.

Meanwhile, DD over there wants us to build around like the 50th best player in the league and thinks that's more than a 35 win team. Hilarious.

They are getting two FRPs in this deal and no other deal would net them a pick in the top 5 like this. They’d be lucky to get one in the top 10. Tearing it down now and getting their own pick next year would also allow them to control their destiny then and likely get another top pick. Holding out for three firsts from some other deal would likely get them picks in the late teens or 20s. The Rockets actually have some leverage here. Portland just needs to be convinced Bridges is the player for them.

Thanks Harden ya bum. I’m sure we could’ve gotten more (perhaps one of the many times I said trade him on our terms and not his). Instead we waited till he quit, literally walked out and demanded a trade.

Funny how you mention all we got was Tari Eason so far and nothing else worth mentioning. I for one will mention I got a lot of joy watching Harden fail during all 3 years since he’s left. Of course other known Harden fanbois like your post and you delusionals still clamor for him to come crawling back.

GM from the Hornets, said in so many words he would not want two starting point guard. Hornets are already a terrible team and drafting another point guard and they have terrible wings right now.

Charlotte probably takes Scoot at 2 making this all a moot point. ;)

Portland trading Scoot Henderson for Mikal Bridges? Rockets would need to add Tari Eason or Sengun. Absolutely no way Portland does this.

The locked on Hornets hosts did an episode today, they wanted Henderson first. Had him in the lead segment. They were complimentary of Miller, but spent like a fraction of the time talking about him.

Jackson is high on Henderson, so he's looking at possibilties.

In these scenarios, we're always the 3rd team because there's very little Portland want directly from us.

Nah. People are overating Bridges for one reason.

They are combining his defensive effort as a Sun where he had little responsibility of being a scorer with his scoring explosion as a Net.

They are two different players. Bridges DBPM dipped well into the negatives as a Net and merging that subconsciously in their head as one complete two way player.

Went would Charlotte pass on Henderson? He seems kind of perfect for them.

Remember Portland can go from 3 to 4, pickup assets and then trade 4 as well.
