I’m very worried about Amen. My biggest worry is with his FT%. You don’t often see guys with a poor FT% become good shooters. I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it does really concern me.

I think we are gonna get offers for 4 because some teams will have 1) Wemby 2) Scoot 3) Miller 4) Amen in some order top 4. If we like Asar, Whittmore, Hendricks, etc, there may be opportunities to move back and pick up assets and still get the guy we want. Or maybe Miller or Scoot fall because teams in front like Amen better. Or maybe we like Amen best and he’s there at 4. Or maybe we go all in to move up a spot and get our guy.

basically I’m very satisfied with #4. Lots of options. stone will need to earn his salary.

Why would he have franchise player potential in the nba if he wasn’t even franchise player level playing against 16 year olds?

Forgot about that. He’s basically Jalen Green with no outside shot or free throw ability. He’ll never make it in the NBA with an unfixable shot. We got royally &$)” tonight.

He wasn’t even ranked top 30 in high school because he can’t shoot. We’ll enjoy his KMJ type dunks, but not a critical three point shot at the end of a game. He does everything well but just one minor thing….shooting the ball. Best case scenario is he’s a Ben Simmons without the size and defense.

You shouldn't. If we would've got 3rd it would be miller. Lucas would turn him into the worst shooter with his old head habits.

At least with Amen, he has that playmaking ability and that elite first step that you sell the farm for. Amen finds 3 point shooters easily. Kpj and Green would love that

Go watch highlights of his passing and slashing. It'll make you feel better.

Y'all can't keep citing the all-star exceptions who improved their jump shot (Kidd, Lenard) and act like that's the norm. For every Kidd there's 10 MCWs and for every Lenard there's 10 Michael Kidd-Gilchrists. This very season we drafted a supposedly elite shooter who barely hit 30% from 3. We don't need more bad shooters.

I have us bringing in Harden and trading for Cam Johnson.

PG) Harden.........TyTy (? Jevon Carter or Monte Morris?.....$)
    SG) J Green........KPj / Harden
SF) KPj...............Cam Johnson (KPj starts but subs out after 5 minutes)
    PF) Tari..............Jarace Walker
    C) Jabari............Garuba / Dereck Lively or trade back for Zach Edey

21-73 on jump shots…9-37 on catch and shoots…7-25 on unguarded shots

I watched zero minutes of real time game action of that league but not being able to dominate a bad league and having what looks like a broke jumper don’t inspire confidence.

The NBA has gotten really, really good at teaching guys to shoot. The examples are numerous. Even Blake Griffin, who was one of the worst shooters I have ever seen his first few years in the league, learned to be an outside shooting threat by the time he hit his prime years.

It's one of those things that is very fixable as long as the player in question is coachable and puts in the effort.
