Man, I’m not sure how much he actually covered Tank, or how it all went down. But looking at the box score, Tank Dell had 9 catches for 152 yards. Sauce had 2 total tackles with 0 passes defensed.

I really like him in those 10 yd line or less routes where he does a quick fake slant inside and then explodes outside. An accurate arm like Stroud could hit him in stride on those and you like a guy with Tank's speed to get across the goal line in that scenario.

I think Mtchie lines up outside in 3 WR sets.

I see Dell moving around a lot like a chess piece. What I really think happens is Slowik uses a lot of 12 personnel next yr.

I think this post is a really good post and I think Metchie is going to play outside quite a bit.

BTW< What's houston's rap culture and what does it have to do with Dell?

Metchie played way more outside at Alabama before Jameson Williams got there and became the primary deep threat because he’s just a faster player and Metchie is more versatile because he’s a great route runner. I think he can play effectively outside and inside.

Tank reminds me of Eagles Desean Jackson. Home run threat this offense desperately needs.

Camp should decide how to utilize these guys. Neither Metchie or Woods are blazers as 4.5 guys to separate on the outside, but I could be wrong. Dell is nowhere near the size of Deebo Samuel as far as how this regime may think about using him and I cant help but worry about guys who are 5'8 and 160 playing in the NFL. I think he'll cut his teeth on 3rd downs.

New regime may come in here and go heavy SF style 21 grouping if they have the RBs to get it done. Im curious to see how much Shanny offense Slowik trots out vs some of his own philosophy on offensive football.

Is that how Desjuan Johnson became the last player taken in the draft?

Are we thinking Hill, Givins or Duncan as a comparable for Tank?

Rodgers was the only guy that threatened teams deep after Cooks quit on the team.
