Guess you didn't view the video I posted earlier in the season

    Apache don't believe in coincidences

and since all the videos caught that guy gently placing the envelopes in the glass
bin but slamming the New York envelope hard against the glass.......and that bent
corner envelope was picked......strange how the drawing is now behind closed doors.

    Things that make you go....ummmm

I’d be pretty thrilled with Scoot and Rupert.

Does Clippers pick, KJ Martin, and Tate get you back into the lotto?

I honestly dont think we have room for any more projects but if someone like Cason Wallace is sitting there at #12, I hope Houston gets agressive.

I think it could depending upon what contract KJM is on.

If it's just the one year he has left, probably not.

If t KJ is locked into a 4 year extension that isn't an overpay, I think it's more likely that collection of assets could get you back in the tail end of the lottery.

Definitely something to think about, especially with teams like Dallas and OKC looking to contend next season and being at #10 and #12 respectively. I don't think KJ fits that well on our team as currently constructed. We really need better spacing and better defense out of the 3 spot. But ultimately it depends on who drops and how high the front office is on the players available. There isn't a ton of clarity in this draft class between picks 7 and 20-something.

So why would Orlando and OkC get one and two last year? Why not the Knicks? Who will it be rigged for this year? Rockets are the biggest market this year. I do think it may have been rigged in the stein years, because he was clearly a gangster and was rigging refs as well. The nba is now making too much money to risk their popularity by getting caught in a social media market like today’s and after Anderson Accounting was destroyed by the Enron scam. If San Antonio gets the pick like so many are predicting, what would be the NBA’s reasoning?

NBA and basketball world hates the Rockets (Houston....Astros, Texans)

I've covered this before. Thunder could have had the Rockets pick
had it been number 5. They allowed the Rockets to be #2 (not #1 x Cade)
and allowed the Rockets to have Jalen Green. Reason being was the Thunder
had about 4 first round picks that year.

But then rewarded the Thunder by allowing them to have Chet Holmgren
the following year (last year). But no way will they allow the Thunder to
have both Chet Holmgren and Wembanyama.....same as they won't
let the Rockets have both Jabari Smith and Wembanyama.

Banchero fit in perfect with the Magic....as soon as the
draft positions were set last season, I immediately posted
Magic would pick Banchero. Had a resident from Orlando
here on Clutchfans tell me no way. They are completely high on
Jabari and it's a done deal.

They (NBA) can't hold the Knicks hands every year....becomes
    too obvious.

P.S. for the same reason is said Dame will get Wembanyama.....I could say
Beal could get him as well. Replacing Porzingis. Just feel like the NBA is going
to help the Blazers transition from Nurkic to Wembanyama.

What will you say when im right?

That it is a coincidence just like it will be. It would have to be a conspiracy of all the NBA owners who all have reps in the room. In today’s whistleblower society, it is not a gamble worth taking for the NBA, and, why would teams that are having horrible attendance numbers agree to it, unless it was them that gets the pick? I also don’t believe that the NBA execs hate the Houston Rockets. If there was a reason for them to hate the Rockets it was Morey’s comments on HK which hurt them financially. Are they going to punish him, wherever he goes?

    That's funny.

People were arguing with me that summer
    of Fade for Cade.

Many were baffled on 51% keeping our pick vs
49% going to the Thunder as the 5th pick.

I was 200% confident we would retain our pick
because I saw how many picks in the first round
    the Thunder had.

No way the NBA was going to give them the 5th pick as well while kicking us in the balls after losing Harden.

I guess you didn't see the videos I posted?
Explain AD wearing a Hornets cap two weeks
    before the draft.

How Magic Johnson knew the Lakers would get
the 2nd pick before the draft.

How Motumbo congratulated the 76ers on the
#1 pick in tweet before the pick was drawn?.
    He quickly deleted it

Damn guys new coaches everywhere, teams forced to dump salary, stars asking out more frequently. This is an AMAZING summer to have this much cap space. We're going to have WAY more options than anticipated.

Thinking about other point guards who can be had via trade vs free agency. As far as free agents go, most have DeAngelo Russell as the 4th best FA point guard available. I’m not a fan because I don’t think he plays good defense but other than that his a decent player. But look at his numbers last year compared to a 25 yr old Markell’s Fultz just starting to blossom after rough start to his career:

Per 36 min their assist to TO ratio is the same, as are the assist numbers. Fultz averages almost a full rebound and steal more per game. Fultz has a significantly higher field goal percentage. Russel has him beat at 3pt shooting and he scores more per game. He’s 2yrs younger than Russell and a much better defender, and will be paid less.

sure he’s been a bust up until this past season, but he finally had a good year and he’s heading into his best years. He’s got the talent; with the right coaching, I think he’s worth trading for. There’s a chance he can be had for guys like KJ, Tate or KPJ. Fills a big need at a much lower cost than Harden or Russell.

Fultz is a good player, Orlando fans really like him. Excellent defender, solid playmaker. I don't think they would give him up easily, unless maybe if they land Scoot Henderson.

Well I don't work with the NBA....don't have insider knowledge. Nor psychic.

I'm just saying the NBA works the draft (top 2 or 3) by narratives...
    No Wemby with Chet
    No Wemby with Jabari Smith
Reward Dame for staying in Portland
Reward Beal for staying in D.C.

Gift Popovich an early retirement present....set
up Becky Hammon being the first female head coach (NBA)
Her suspension may expedite that. First female can't fail like Silas.
That would be disastrous. Set her up with talent ready to compete.
    Not tank like with Silas.

Thunder lost Paul George but you can't just give them #1 too obvious
Houston lost Harden but you can't give us the #1....too obvious.
Utah lost Gobert and Mitchell.....you just cant just give them #1...too obvious

But Houston, Thunder, Utah get constellation prizes. Utah probably gets
    paid in spades later.

    I said the order earlier:
    #1 Portland
    #2 Spurs
    #3 Rockets

But I set myself to win either way.
    Win- Rockets don't get Wemby
Lose- I still win as Rockets get Wembanyama

P.S. the NBA can only do so much. Team like Knicks have to carry their
own weight. NBA put in the Stepien rule to help the Knicks protect
    them from themselves.
