    I know the lottery starts at 7 but IIRC the results are shown at 7:30. So we're about 22 hours away from celebrating a Wemby pick.

    The audience does not know how it is drawn until everything is done, then they put on a show. (Most likely from 1st pick downwards)

    The show begins with the last pick upwards but that is not likely how it goes as only the Lottery is for the 1-4th picks.

    If Detroit falls out of the Top 4, lets say, someone outside the Top 4 moves up. 5th pick for Detroit.

    If Detroit falls and Houston falls out of the Top 4 too then the worst record comes in. If SA falls, 7th pick.

    5th pick Detroit
    6th pick Houston

    So when Detroit falls, pray that Houston does not fall at the same time.

    If Detroit keeps being among the Top 4 and Houston falls out of the Top 4, then Houston would get the 5th pick.

    Normally someone (1 or 2 teams) from outside the Top 4 always moves up into the Top 4.

    2022 Draft
    Houston worst record (Houston moved down 2 spots to 3rd pick) (stayed inside the Top 4)
    Orlando second worst record (moved up to No 1)
    Detroit with the 3rd worst record (moving down to No 5) (fell outside the Top 4)
    OKC with the 4th worst record (moving up to No 2)

    Sacramento witht the 6th worst record (moved up to No 4)
