Coming on the heels of two consecutive series wins, and with the A's, Brewers and then A's coming up behind this series, this has the potential to be "ship righting". Lets go!!!!
Not that this type of thing means anything to Dusty, but there's zero reason Chaz and Meyers shouldn't both be in the OF Tuesday and Wednesday. If they're ever gonna give Tucker a day off one of those games is the place to do it.
Certainly a possibility of a sweep with at least the pitching matchups. Whether the offense shows up, we'll see. Should be 2 out of 3, fingers crossed .
To the matter of whether we play up to winning teams or down to non-winning teams: So far in 2023: Astros vs winning teams 13-8 Astros vs non-winning teams 8-11
I would expect 10 day rehab at least. He hasn't played any games in nearly 2 months. My guess is back for homestand starting 29th vs Min.
McCormick was activated on 5/8. Bannon was optioned to Sugar Land in the corresponding move. His usage is a Dusty decision with lot's of input from others.
We've only won 1 of 5 series at home this year. That's unacceptable. Taillon is from the Woodlands and coming off a horrible outing.....which of course means he will probably flirt with a no-hitter against us tonight.
Can’t worry about the opposing pitchers numbers. Never seems to matter against us. see ball, hit ball
Chas as DH while Alvarez is in left? Obviously, Dusty doesn't care about specifically winning this game.
