it's the wrong argument; F16s would protect Ukrainian airspace, and deny Russian fighters/bombers from killing civilians. also, both articles (they seem to be essentially the same article) assume the S-400 actually works, which is a highly questionable assumption due to Russian corruption, incompetence, etc. and we've been having this discussion for a year now; if Biden had acted 12 months ago, or even six months ago, the "training/support" argument would be moot, and many more Ukrainian civilians would be alive today.
Biden is the POTUS of America before any other country. His main responsibility is to manage risk to the point where the war doesnt escalate. Hes seen intel and other classified docs that you have no idea. In the heat of the moment people do crazy stuff. China told Biden that if UKR attacked Russian homeland then it would be their red line. We're sitting here playing monday morning quarterback BECAUSE biden has managed this responsibly to the point where Russia doesn't have reason to escalate because biden hasnt either. When you have trolls like @Space Ghost who claim biden gives them a blank check is dumb because its just not true. Biden from the beginning has not given UKR any weapons that could hit moscow so he can have plausible deniability if **** hit the fan. Hes doing the right thing. We dont want war with russia.
