    I have never in my entire life seen a pitcher as BABIP snakebit as Montero is right now.

    .440, it's absurd.

    6.89 ERA gets Montero $11 million in 23, with 2 years left:confused::confused::confused::confused:

    Waste Pressly and Abreu late in a game where we had a 4 run lead and the White Sox look uninspired
    Pitch Montero who has been choking every game in a tie game late on national TV where the White Sox look inspired

    I meant to say Martinez. As shaky as he can be at times, I'd still easily take him over Montero.

    Montero is so terrible. Bagwell and Crane have a Jack Eastery and Bill O'Brien team building instincts.

    I can't remember an offseason when the Astros whiffed on literally every major free agent signing or re-signing, but between Montero, Abreu and Brantley, every analyst who said "the Astros needed a GM this offseason" looks like a genius right now. These guys have been a complete disaster.

    Correct. But we unfortunately have Dusty Baker as our manager.

    He is sucking and I am sure if he could stop sucking he would. So his sucking is non optional. What's optional is the moron manager putting him in the game during high leverage situation. Let he work low leverage situation and see if he can get out of it why put him in during a 1-1 game? Who is that helping

    17 appearances now for Montero, the 3rd most by any relief pitcher behind only Pressley and Abreu....and he has BY FAR the worst ERA on the roster.

    This is the least fun I've had watching the Astros in a while. They just look dead.
