numbers show we're definitely near the worst at hitting in innings 1-6 so that checks out

That's what I want to know.

If he isn't, then Dusty is less intelligent than we even suspected.

This offense really is the perfect antidote for any struggling SP

So 2 of our starters going down has had absolutely no effect on this team. Zippo, nada, zilch.

The bullpen blowing 6 games and the inept offense is the cause of all of our problems.

If our bullpen was air tight like last season we would probably be 24-14 (on pace for 102 wins) and we really wouldn't be concerned outside of our usual inconsistent offense (much like last year).

If Bielak can go 5 innings and give up no more than 2 runs I will consider that a great start. Sadly he may get 1 run tops in support.

true but I still take him over Dubon in the outfield, which is what I thought you were asking. I thought it was who do we want in CF.

Feels that way. Bielak is pitching fine for what he is. Situational hitting stinks

If the Astros ever try some sort of candyass HR dugout celebration using props and whatnot...

    we should lose

After the WS, I remember reading an article where Breggy said his season turned around last year when Snitker pointed out his lower body wasn't being engaged in his swing and then they fixed it. He started doing more lower body workouts and got his legs stronger and then he never looked back. I wonder if it's the same issue and he's reverting back to old habits?
