Yeah you start him in the backcourt with Jalen to guard the best backcourt player, split running the offense with Sengun and he punishes you if your man doesn't commit to him all over the court. He gets into the offense fast too, no more wasting 15 seconds at the source of the offense. No more confusion about pecking order from the PG.

Same role he has with Lakers just a little more playmaking since Sengun is not as good as Lebron. I see him getting 5-6 assists and 2 TO's here.

I like reaves. He is a high Basketball IQ player. He can play defence, got playmaking, shoot 3, drive to the rim and a team player with no tunnel vision. Everything what the current Rockets team dont have beside Sengun

I'd do Porter and Tate in a sign and trade for Reaves in a heartbeat. Would even thrown in a 2nd or two to get it done. He's tough, smart, doesn't get rattled and not only is a great CLUTCH shooter, but has great playmaking ability AND plays both ends of the floor.

Would instantly be an upgrade on the court and in the locker room over Porter. He's also a MUCH better fit next to JG.

He plays with control and doesn't risk push offs with dribble penetration in tight situations. It's a marvel to look at how he does it.

This is really my biggest concern. Reaves seems solid but he plays the same position as Green. He seems to have more playmaking skills but has never played PG in the NBA and no making a few plays out of PnR doesn't make you a PG automatically.

There probably is a world where we could trade Green as part of a Jaylen Brown (or other star big wing) package. In that case I'd be very happy with Harden/Reaves/Brown in the starting lineup.

Would easily be our best player and it’s not even close as of now.

Offensively he’s fine defensively without an elite rim protector he has no chance vs Lead guards. He’s more of a two and we have enough of those.

    He’s a good player but I disagree.

Come on Cuban. You let Brunson walk, kyrie leaving you with nothing. Please pay Reeves an offer the Lakers cant match so he turns into the next parsons and Mavs lose Luka.

THT had a good year, Lakers paid him and then regret. GSW is seeing this with Poole. Joe Harris and Duncan Robinson looked deserving, until it didn't. Don't have to look too far back to find these cases.

Consistency and growth are not linear. One of those risks with small sample players.

OK to be Austin curious, so long as, it's within reason on the overpay.

The Spurs, Jazz seem like they will be big players for him. I wouldn’t mind us jumping in as well. He’s very solid on both sides of the ball.

The dream lineup for the Jazz and their fans:

    Luka Doncic
    Austin Reaves
    Franz Wagner
    Lauri Markkanen
Walker Kessler (if Jokic is unavailable)

I don't think I would expect Reaves to come here and become the super Saiyan version of himself. He's 3rd or 4th option now, a link in the chain for Lebron and AD. This would remind me of signing Ariza to come here and be the guy.

He's the 3rd option behind LeBron and Davis.

    And??????

I mean you expect him to be ahead of all time greats? On the Rox current squad, he would be the most well rounded dude on the team. Would be the ultimate glue guy for these guys. No BS included.
