Because it’s Boston. I was saying the same thing in ‘85/‘86 about the Lakers, a great team simply loaded with amazing players. We beat them in 5 on an incredible shot by Sampson with Olajuwon tossed and in the locker room. “Why do the Lakers get those calls?” Moved on to the Finals and Boston, a great team loaded with future Hall of Fame players, same thing. “Why do they get those calls?” Because it’s Boston. You have to find a way to beat them anyway. We did with the Lakers. Came up short with the C’s, who were better at taking advantage of our youth. Still took them 6 games.

The Sixers have to find a way to beat them anyway. It’s not supposed to be easy. Maybe they will. I have them taking Boston in 7. Maybe they won’t. I would care more if we were playing Boston in the Finals, obviously. A hell of a lot more, but we’re currently meandering in the wilderness, hoping this new leader can take us to the Promised Land, eventually. I’m rooting for Philadelphia because they have a few former Rockets playing for them and I “hate” Boston. Should be a good game.

Amazing how Tatum can sh*t the bed most of the game and make a few shots in the fourth quarter and it's all okay. Your superstar shouldn't have to be carried by players like Malcom Brogdon for 75% of the game.

Amazing how some players actually show up in elimination games and do superstar things when it really matters.

Not sure if people have watched the whole series, but this would’ve been Boston in 4 had Harden not pulled off heroic performances in games 1 and 4. I’d love garden and this slew of ex-rockets to get a ring, but I’m by no means a garden nuthugger. Embiid and Melton are probably my favorite members of that squad

You trying to say Brogdan is a scrub? I would love him on the rockets...

Harden shoots 4-16 from the field 0-6 from 3 and has 5 turnovers and these “salty baby mommas” blaming everything and anyone. Hold Harden accountable? Nahhh never that. Every year for the last 10 years it’s one excuse or another after another and then some.

He’s tired, he’s hurt, bad officiating, he has a concussion, lil b curse, Scott foster, magnets, Warriors cheat, no gas left, he doesn’t have enough help, he has the worst luck ever, Kyrie’s fault, Tobias Harris sucked, if only he had a player like Malcom Brogdon, Doc Rivers can’t coach, D’Antoni didn’t make adjustments, CP3 was hurt, Lillard made a lucky shot, Hao wasn’t at the game

Well when you pretty much outscore the other team by yourself in Q4 and almost all of your teams final points….

Ya maybe, but that stuff changes over time. Lakers are getting a rough whistle against GS. Like i said, i understand the warriors stuff because of how much they charge for home games but the boston stuff is just baffling. What they did to philly last night was absurd.

Tobias Harris deserves the most blame. He's getting paid more than both Embid and Harden and put up 2 pts in 42 minutes. Absolutely pathetic.

Absolve him from what? I even posted that he wasn't playing well. But all stars could use some help from their supporting cast. Harden has literally won two games for the Sixers by himself this series. It's be nice if this MVP would show up with at least 1 dominate performance.

Embiid had 26 and he's injured, Maxey had 26. Tatum didn't get a FG until the 3rd quarter. if Harden had a regular game they win. How much more help do want Harden to have? If Harden needs to put the team on his back over and over again, then he should do it. we have seen him do it. I just want this dude to hoop.

harden always looks like he is saving himself for the next game, then all of sudden there is no next game.

Joel Embiid last 4 games with the series tied 1-1

    Game 3: 30 Points 13 Rebs 4 Blocks

    Game 4: 34 Points 13 Rebs

    Game 5: 33 Points 7 Rebs 4 Blocks

    Game 6: 26 Ponts 10 Rebs 3 Blocks

How much more dominant do you want him to be?

Meanwhile Harden with a chance to eliminate the Celtics goes for a sorry ass 13 points on 4-16 from the field 0-6 from 3 and has 5 turnovers. How do you expect to win when you turn the ball over 5 times and literally make only 1 basket in the entire second half? Somehow that’s Embiid’s fault?

What’s even more laughable is the delusional losers that keep pointing blame and expected Tobias freaking Harris to bail Harden out…. Cause of his contract? What?! Absolutely ridiculous. Nobody expected shiit from him before so why now? Cause of Harden’s shortcomings y’all have to point the finger at somebody to blame.

If you guys are going to use the contract excuse let’s talk about the unexpected help Maxey has been. A 22 year old player in his 3rd year that makes only 2.7 Million dollars has way out played his contract, looked like a star and been a consistent 2nd or 3rd piece all series.

The expectation was for Harden to be consistently good with a couple of great games hopefully. He did have the latter but you can’t have 2 amazing games and 3 absolute crap games and expect to win the series and then blame everyone else. All he had to do was be decent like game 5 and Sixers would have advanced.

The real loser of Game 6 was John Hao. Career over as a good luck charm. Shorter prime than Jeremy Lin.
