First time in a long time I'm actually looking forward to a Texans game and not just looking forward to getting drunk in the parking lot of a Texans game...

I don't care about picks when you end up with 2 of the top 3 picks in this years' draft. Bird in the hand... You are too worried about assets when the goal is get the BEST players. Darryl Morey was always worried about assets, instead of players. You don't know where the Texans are picking next draft and you don't know what players are available. Assumptions. You are banking on a "top 10 talent". You don't know what that player is. Who ****ing cares? A 1, 2, and 3. That is all you gave up. You got the 3 back in another trade. So you gave up a 1 and 2. I would give up that to get the best defensive player in the draft. It is a dumb argument that you think you know better than the football people of the Texans. They know their plans, you don't.

Initially didn't like the Stroud pick, but I've worked myself to be excited for the upcoming season. Not because I believe they'll win much, but for the process and the young players...and honestly Stroud himself. All the self-assured projection hubris you people declaring that he'll be this type or that type of QB in the NFL. No matter what, he's our high QB pick and hasn't played a snap in the NFL....so I'll enjoy the process, who knows if he fails or succeeds in the end. I'll be ecstatic if he becomes a Matt Ryan or Aaron Rodgers, as long as he's successful.

Time to move on to the upcoming season.

Interesting that you chose Morey when we all know Morey understands player value much better than Caserio, who loses this trade if Watson actually plays like he’s capable. Daryl Morey created a team that would have beaten the Durant Warriors and won the title if not for CP3’s injury, who he traded for, also traded for Harden, and signed numerous role players who fit the team at good value. Caserio has a poor concept of draft trade value, overthinks frequently (Stingley over Sauce), and we’re supposed to think he’s better than Morey. There’s no evidence of that.
