Harden - Green - Bridges - Bari - Wemby w/ Tari + Cam off the bench is my dream.

KPJ + Sengun + KMJ + all of BK's swaps and picks back for Bridges plus whatever. maybe claxton? IDGAF just get Bridges man.

Bari will have to bulk up a play center in this scenario. Wemby is not an NBA center and will struggle even with some PF’s, but it’s not a bad scenario if we get Wemby. Would do it in a heartbeat if somehow we could leave Sengun off the trade list.

If the Rockets get Wemby and Harden agrees to a FA contract, the Rockets are definitely in business. I would not go that crazy as Harden is only likely to be good for another year or 2 before being mostly just a floor general. I do think a Wemby, Jabari, Cam, Tari front court rotation would be great defensively once the young guys develop as long as the engine is in the backcourt. If the Rockets did get Bridges with Harden and Green (and without Sengun), I'd probably start Bridges at the 2 with Green off the bench.

harden will help out in the post as i'm sure he will be adding another 10-15 more pounds to finish his career lol.

but with the length and switchability with Wemby + Jabari as well as shotblocking, running teams off the 3 point line might not be a bad strategy.

Trade Garuba and Christopher for cap space
    Sign Harden for 40m
    Sign C. Johnson for 30m
Trade KPJ and Tate + Nets Picks for Bridges
    Draft Wemby
    Draft Lively

    Harden / TyTy
    Green / KMJ
    Bridges / Cam
    Jabari / Eason
    Wemby / Sengun / Lively

Sengün is not a perennial bench player, might as well set him free.

I almost entirely agree. If we get Wemby I would give that contract to Reaves over Johnson. If we get Scoot then go for Cam to balance out the options in the back and front court. In rhe above I worry about the lack of guard depth. Don't know much about lively myself.

So you’re paying Cam $30m a year to play 13 minutes? While that’s easy money, I don’t think you could sell him on that, nor would you want to.

He probably has lion share of backup 2 and 3 minutes.

    Kmj likely odd man out.

And he slides into lineup when wemby is load managed in a small ball scenario with Jabari at center.

    Kmj likely odd man out.

I'd feel a lot better about giving up those Nets picks if Rockets did a better job of collecting picks with their previous deals. I'm not sure I'm as sold on Bridges as most others (though I liked him a lot before he went crazy in BKN). Giving up all those picks for Bridges is a big price to pay, though yeah if you get Wemby and Harden, maybe you try it out.

I don't know if Cam can really play the 2, seems to me he would slide back and forth between the 3 and the 4 and Bridges would switch between backing up Green and playing the 3. I think that roster could be made to work but yeah either KJ Martin or Tari would have to go.

If we acquired either Bridges or Cam Johnson and drafted Miller, Miller would definitely come off the bench. We are looking to win this year. But, personally, I hope we don't draft Miller. I am not nearly as high on him as so many of you. He doesn't appear to be nearly athletic enough to me to be the player some of you guys think he could be. I'm not standing here claiming that I'm right and everybody who believes in him is wrong - I have been wrong enough times to be humble - but I just can't see it in that guy.

I'm more excited about pretty much everybody in the top. I'd even rather have either of the Thompson twins because I think it more likely that they learn to shoot than that Miller become a better athlete. I'd also prefer Jarace Walker, Cam Whitmore and Anthony Black.

Not saying I'd do this but on the fence...

With the Suns out and having some regret and with assurance from Harden and the top pick...

    To Brooklyn:
    KPJ
    Jabari Smith
    2 Brooklyn Picks

    To Suns:
    K Martin
    Mikal Bridges
    2 Suns picks

    To Rockets:
    Kevin Durant

    Harden
    Green
    Durant
    Wembanyama
    Sengun

I think I don't because of Durant's injury history... concerned between that and Victor possibly becoming injury prone.

If that lineup is healthy it's a matchup problem for most teams...

I think I would prefer Bridges outright but not for Jabari who I think could be as good or better in 1-2 years.

Maybe if we get #2 or #3 pick, swap that for Bridges with KPJ for salary offset. Then sign Harden and Grant Williams...

    Harden
    Green
    Bridges
    Smith
    Sengun

Which Suns player would you rather trade for: CP3 or Ayton?

CP3 if he wants to come back. Best "coach on the floor" guy to show the young guys what's what. Ayton is
    [IMG]

Don't trade for CP3 if he doesn't want to be here though. He's no good to us if he's not engaged and onboard with the process.
