I really think we are playing in the NBA's face. Are they going to let us get a top pick parading Ime around like this? now im scared. tilman needs to relax #prayforvictor
They owe us and Ime for making his situation public Boston could of kept it under wraps remember the league didn’t suspend him Boston did
I think you're over analyzing. Those series may have gone a game longer than they should have but Miami clearly has been a tough playoff out recently in the playoffs. Lowery doesn't look washed right now and they seem to be doing just fine without Herro. I watched it too, it was close to being disastrous but you could look at most finals runs and point to moments like that. They had huge game 6/7 wins against Milwaukee with Giannis playing very well.
I am hoping to sign up as an assistant so that my odds of dating him increase. Thirsty AF for this negro as a head coach.
Makes me think about Rudy T playing Horry at the 4. Spaced everything out and created massive mismatches. That move was ahead of its time. Yes you have to have talent to win in the NBA, but coaching matters without question.
Yeah no i was there. Boston was heavily favored to beat both, they had huge wins.... because they shat the bed repeatedly that forced them to have to get huge wins. Go back and look at the scores. I mean, whatever, i watched the games, but a Miami team - even with Butler in playoff mode - had absolutely no business staying on the court wity the February 2022 Celtics. But by April & May they were clearly a spent force, and even a mediocre Heat outfit pushed them to the brink l I know everyone is excited about the Rockets new coach, I am too, but that's just a thing that happened, regardless of Udokas role in it.
I feel like we will end up bringing in Grant Williams this summer. Mazulla doesnt use him like Udoka did. He is a FA this summer and seems like the type of vet Ime would like to have around our young guys (smart player). I don’t know, just a feeling I have after watching Boston tonight.
I saw the games too, no need to be a dick. They never had a performance like Game 5 a couple days ago. The "******** the bed" were all close games that could have gone either way. Agree to disagree. EDIT: Forgot to mention that the Heat had a better record in the regular season. Completely disagree that they had "no business" staying on the court with the Celtics.
The Heat racked up a bunch of not super impressive wins in what was a COVID-19 disrupted season. The Celtics were .500 and then historically great after Christmas The Celtics were clear favorites to come out of the east entering the playoffs after Middleton was revealed to be out and it was known at the time, they had the best odds, everyone picked them to plow through the injury ravaged Heat and Bucks in 5 or 6, etc. It didn't work out that way and they were a shell of the team they were in March. You can try to write revisionist history to.. make you feel good about Udoka and bad about Mazulla, though i don't really get why it's necessary for you to do so. (Also the Celtics are now 1 win away from winning the series now so... yeah.)
Yes, I'm aware they were historically great for half the season. Entering the series, the Heat were +130 to win, so it's not like they were some crazy underdog. They should have beaten the Bucks in 5 or 6 yes, game 5 was an extremely close loss in the last second. This has nothing to do with Mazulla, although every Boston fan I know thinks he's worse coach than Udoka was. Most people around the league feel the same way.
If you are going to **** on Udoka in the playoffs, does he not get credit for them being historically great in the first place? Remind us how great they were the year before under Stevens. So they were favored to come out of the east and they…did? I don’t think that’s the knock you think it is.
I just wanted to share this Raptors guy going in on Ime haha https://www.youtube.com/live/HTVyWQIM6nY?feature=share
