I would ask folks to chill with the nasty personal attacks, but this is a Trump thread, so carry on, set a dumpster on fire or whatever.
sorry, I went out of town and didn’t see your response until now. so, Mr smooth brain, how exactly is Trump gonna resolve the war in 24 hours?
Trump gets $hit done, its always been that way. It was that way when he was president but ya'll too sensitive and emotional. When Biden won I actually said I did not agree with his point views but if he could serve his term and not ruin where the country was I would give him props. Did not take long before I like many realized he was awful. I don't know how Trump resolves it but I do know he has a much better chance of resolving it than Biden does. I'm certain he gets it done and quickly. Its not the first time he gets something done that the government in power couldn't. You actually think Biden has a better shot? Putin, China or any major country don't respect him. Hardly anyone does except the woke sensitive leftist.
I do agree with @Salvy that Trump got sht done, he did. Got tax cut for the rich and stuff the courts with conservatives and got rich. Biden also got sht done. Got the first black woman into Supreme Court, pass legislative that improves Infrastructure, lower prescription cost and had a gun safety measure passed. Man literally has the thinnest margin of majority and is still pushing sht through. Just bc the things biden is doing doesnt resonate with u @Salvy doesn't mean he isn't getting sht done. Biden got sht done that's why no real challenger in the democratic party is gonna challenge him. History will look quite kindly on Biden especially with him being right after trump.
Yep Trump got $hit done. That’s why he got the wall built, we have the best healthcare plan ever, he got great infrastructure, guns were taken away from people etc..
getting a tax cut passed and USSC justices appointed with a Republican majority are not difficult accomplishments. I would give Mitch McConnell more credit on the Justices.
I always believed that if Trump didn't fumble his response to his 9/11 Aka covid, easily would have won the reelection. Sht ton of people died unnecessarily.
It’s very possible if Trump didn’t fumble COVId or if it hadn’t happened he might’ve won. Incumbency carries a lot of weight and pretty much the nominee of either R or D are guaranteed 40% of the vote no matter how bad they are. Even without COVID and with a good economy Trump did still have bad approval ratings. We’ll never know but even before COVID happened I felt he had a 50% chance of being re-elected. What matters now is that even with everything Trump still shouldn’t be underestimated and while I don’t think he will win it’s certainly possible.
Town hall audience was "disgusted" and "bewildered" by Trump, but CNN told them not to boo, only to applaud Republican political consultant Matthew Bartlett says CNN's town hall with Trump was rigged to make it look like everyone in the audience was in agreement with Trump, even though many in attendance were "disgusted" and "bewildered," reports Mediaite. "The floor manager came out ahead of time and said, Please do not boo, please be respectful. You were allowed to applaud," Bartlett told Puck News senior political correspondent Tara Palmeri.
Folks just like doubling down on trump regardless of his faults. Quite glad with the stupid winner takes all electoral votes, i don't have to worry about my state ever voting for trump
I wish there was more moderate conservatives to discuss politics with on this forum. @Salvy @SuraGotMadHops @Commodore @basso @tallanvor and a few others are all just far right, Trump loyalists that are just using the Trump playbook for their arguments. It's boring to discuss issues with individuals like that. Not sure why you guys are just hurling insults back and forth at each other when no real dialogue is happening. I know it's a forum, but man, what's the point of arguing with individuals that don't present any evidence, are going on gut feeling (think 2020 election), are ignoring actual reality (think Biden deporting more people than Trump), and love stating the line "Trump got **** done" despite the fact that he couldn't get **** done. Trump didn't get the wall completed (maybe some rehab on existing sections and a few miles of new wall, woopy ****ing doo), Trump could not get ACA repealed (thanks John), Trump could not get an infrastructure bill through, Trump did not pay down the debt as he promised (ran deficits all four years and added nearly $7T to the debt), Trump became a propaganda puppet to the North Korea regime (denuclearization lol), etc. Sure some accomplishments, like Tax Cuts and getting to pack the federal judge seats (this is truly Mitch McConnells legacy, not Trump), but for the most part he focused his time on conspiracy theories, throwing rallies because his b**** ass needed to feel loved, and fighting the media. I'll never understand the love for Trump. I'd be happy to give credit where credit was due if there was a reason to give it, but instead his tenure was chaotic, anti-America, and accomplished tearing the nation apart. The guy is a loser. The evidence is there. Lost the house majority in 2018, lost the Senate majority and presidency in 2020, could not give his party the momentum to convincingly take both the House in 2022 (small majority) and made no gains in the Senate. Locally, a ton of elections swung the democrats way. I'll never get the love for the guy. People idolize him and I don't understand why. He will lose again in 2024. He is not really making any gains with swing voters. No one cares about his loyal cult or republicans that vote Republican just because they vote Republican, those votes will always be there. The problem for him is making gains on swing voters and his loser ass can't make a case for them to shift.
That is interesting and my original feeling regarding the town hall was that CNN both wants the ratings and wanted to appear like they weren’t biased against Trump. Speculation on my part but I’m also wondering if they meant it to also be a wake up call for others to take Trump seriously.
A big problem in our culture and Clutchfans is just a reflection of that is that nuance is lost and tribal loyalties are very important. We are so awash in information both factually and not that often to make sense of it we fall back on ideology and partisanship. It’s easier and it also feels good to just look for a simple answer and embrace your own tribe.
Don’t forget that he did these things as well: Threw paper towels to people in Puerto Rico Visited South Carolina after a hurricane and marveled at a boat that washed ashore Threw ketchup at the walls inside the White House Took classified documents with him to Florida Hugged the US flag multiple times Instigated an insurrection Made who knows how many “perfect” calls I could come up with more but I just got up and I have stuff to do.
