Unfortunately, his supporters don't actually know that things weren't better; they refuse to acknowledge (or have thoroughly retconned) the pandemic, don't acknowledge that he did not "finish" the wall, etc. It's upside-down world over there.
One question I've never gotten an answer for from those who doubt the validity of mail-in ballots: do you doubt election results from California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington? All of those states have conducted every election via mail and have never reported issues. I've got friends in Seattle and Denver who have never set foot at a physical poll, but have voted for years by mail. Is there anything, other than Trump simply saying not to trust it, that undermines how 8 blue and red states hold their elections? From what I can tell, it just feels weird to those of us who live in places like Texas that don't allow for it.

I don't know what goes on in those states, maybe they are all jacked up, maybe some of them are jacked up, maybe none of them are jacked up. Election night in 2020 went down really weird. In my entire life I never saw an election not get called that evening (other than 2000), I never saw ballots stop being counted at night then resumed the next day, and I never saw where late in the evening one candidate is leading several battleground states, the count stops for the night, then in the morning they all flip on account of mail-ins. I don't know if there was fraud, maybe there wasn't, I really don't know. As Jack Nicholson said in the Departed, "it brings up questions." That's it.

Bernie sanders literally said before the election trump would do exactly what he did because EVERYONE knew the same day voting ballots would be counted first. Trump literally told his supporters to vote on election day and not vote early by mail. Funny you only dispute the states where Trump barely lost. You don't say a damn thing about states, which have mail in voting, where Trump won. You dispute the states where Republicans picked up seats, but Trump lost. You just seem unaware. NONE of those things are unusual. 1. Pandemic, more mail in ballots. 2. Many of the Republican legislatures legislated that mail in ballots be counted last. 3. The Republican candidate spent months talking about how unsafe mail in ballots were while Democratic campaigns advocated use of mail in ballots. Having them overcome election deficits from the on sight balloting makes total sense. It would be strange of that didn't happen. 4. Trump's own appointed officials conducted investigation after investigation. They found nothing.
