My bad. I keep missing all the rings on his fingers. You need to give that Harden PG dream up because it has already been a nightmare for the Rockets many times over.
And now resorting to ring or nothing logic is just as stupid. As if that saves the previous dumb post. But keep going. I like seeing folks tell on themselves No I’ll do what I want and will welcome back with open arms this summer when he is exactly what this team needs. You telling folks what they need to do after seeing your posts? Lol stop it
Only with Harden would u see folks downplay 40 pts games as good game. Anybody else doing it, and they would b singing praises
Legend has it round here that he likes the scantily clad lady clubs - I'm sure they'll find some common ground
Anything over 40 in a playoff game definitely has to enter the lexicon. People can talk about Harden's inconsistency all they want... they're not wrong. Sometimes it feels like he's either on or he's really off. But those were iconic playoff performances.
That’s a steep price for brown. Brown is above average I wouldn’t trade green or Jabari let alone both. Brown will never be a #1 and will be a lesser player of harden in his prime. I’d rather keep the young guys than over pay for an above average player.
He's disappeared on offense for long stretches during this Philly/Boston series. Doesn't appear to be very aggressive in looking to get his own shot.
If Harden comes back, he runs the entire organization again. Whoever he demands is on the team will be on the team.
If the Rockets do bring Harden back, my hope would be that he plays like he did in game 5 last night... only 8 shot attempts, but orchestrating the offense well.
3 years 120 million. team option on a 4th year. We have the capspace. Can also add another piece later in next offseason before all the rookies have to sign (hopefully) expensive deals.
I disagree with many of the "Harden coming to Houston" takes. Since leaving Houston Harden has become more of a distributor and less of a scorer by design. That's a sacrifice stars playing with stars have to do in order to win. Playing next to Kyrie, Durant, DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin... and then Embiid, Tobias Harris. Speaking of Kyrie, he said Harden was the true Point Guard of the Nets when they both by played for the Nets. Mention that for those who want a PG and bring up Kyrie as an option. At the moment, Harden crushed it again when Embiid missed Game 1......since then, many have told Harden to stop trying to appease Embiid and go get his. Harden can still play and I'm guessing would prefer playing with a offensive scheme that allows the guards to pin their ears back and go down hill. The way Ime Udoka- did with the Celtics. Big man setting screens and rolling to the rim. Harden, Green, KPj would have a field day carving up teams if provided with 3-point shooters allowing for SPACING. Harden would be able to allow the youngsters to carry him as he gets older; as KPj, Green, Jabari, Tari and possibly Wemby (B Miller, Scoot, Jarace, Cam W, Amen, TH) for years to come..... while accepting less money to be near family (& Go-Go girls) while setting up our youth to succeed long term. I'm not expecting many add-ons beyond Harden and one other free agent joining the team this summer. With exception to minimal vet minimum FA's.
Realistically it depends on what Philadelphia offers him. Philly will 100% offer him the max for the next couple years. Harden will be paid max dollars for 2023-24 and 2024-25, book it. But it's possible Philly goes lower than that or doesn't want to give a full max guarantee on the back end of a 4 year contract. In that case, where else is he going to go?
Harden has made like well over 500 million in his career thus far. His interest in a joe-schmo 3% bank account is like 15 million a year. At some point money doesn't matter. This all depends on his priorities. The Rockets aren't desperate for him so the deal needs to work for both parties.
