Harris's contract is definitely too big, but he's been a valuable part of this playoff run IMO. Solid all around and when Embiid had to sit, he stepped up. His 25 points, 12 rebounds in the final game in the sweep of the Nets was especially huge. Overpaid? Probably, but definitely not dead weight.
he also is an expiring contract this offseason. He can get the Sixers a few solid ready to win players in the offseason . If or when Harden returns they can use him along with maxey for another star to pair with Embiid. Possibly Dame
Butler plays with house money If he wins . .. he is spectacular if he doesn't . . .well no one expected them too Rocket River
A lot of Boston fans on Twitter hoping they can trade Jaylen Brown for Sengun. No no no. You can have KPJ.
Butler plays with role players He still wins….. and he is spectacular if he doesnt…well no one expected them to cause he’s carrying guys like Max Strudel, Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin Who da fook are those guys? Just checked… all 3 are undrafted nobodies yet all 3 are top 5 in minutes played these playoffs. Jimmy Butler is a MFing stud. Put some respek on his name.
Butler definitely has balls. I'd love to have had him on the Rockets when the timeline would have fit. Morey tried. Still, Harden is a good player. I continue to be torn on him. A Harden/Green backcourt would probably be problematic. Harden/Jaylen Brown? Hmm.... Harden Jaylen Brown Wemby/Tari Jabari/Tari Sengun/Wemby Still would like to keep Green though.
Well, you got to give it to Erik Spoelstra as well and the Heat organization with Riley and owner Mickey Arison. They are finding those underrated nobodies as you say.
Will the John Hao buff pays off in game 6? If he does, u can bet your a$$ sixers will invite him to every home game for harden
I’m seeing a lot of cappers saying John Hao won this series for the 76ers and no way they let JH13 lose with him in attendance.
I'm not a superstitious person but if John Hao being in the game makes James Harden played well in game 4 just do whatever u can to end the series in Philly. I'm quite confident that Harden and embiid can smash the Heats and get into the final.
Harden is way better in the pick-and-roll than people give him credit for. If he comes back I want us running PnR variations constantly. We ran way too much ISO ball during the first Harden era. No reason to make it harder on yourself than you need to.
It does not really mean much if he comes back and runs PnR for 2-3 years, gets injured, and the next PG is not running PnR as much. It is back to where it was before he came back.
