I acknowledge that Biden's handlers know it is a political weakness and he must sound tough on immigration, but there can be doubt they want as many illegals crossing over the border as possible (with an eye toward a mass amnesty and ten million more Democrat voters). You confuse apprehensions and those who are allowed in the country. Migrants by nature assume democrats are easy on immigration and will make the journey regardless. Bidens actual policy that he's finalizing today mandates *NOBODY* gets accepted into the country and penalizes folks to try multiple times with possible jail time.
