If Boston likes Sengun more than Smith then you could start Bari at the 4. If Sengun stays then Wemby is the 4 and Sengun the 5.
Of all the players on the Rockets roster, I think Jabari is the least likely to be traded. He is going to be the best out of last year’s draft and has the attitude and work ethic that our new coach craves.
Harden continues to be the clear choice to sign in free agency, to be the bridge for the young core to get meaningful reps towards hopeful play in and learning how to win. And yes whether it will take max or not doesn't make a difference in this state of the rockets.
This is how I basically feel too. The only players who are “Keep” for me are Green and Bari. If I could only choose one, it may actually be Bari.
If Fertits is willing to dish out the max he should be congratulated for not being a cheapskate like he was with CP3.
It was not even about the money but his decision made sense at that time, CP3 was not totally happy here. The way they treated his bruh Melo. Just not for Westbrook, but Harden agreed to that. We are still waiting for the CP3 memoirs.
that decision never made any semblance of sense. it only made sense to folks who know next to nothing about playing the actual game of basketball like Tilman
I respectfully disagree with you. It's the assets we gave up that truly bothers me besides breaking up a championship contender, CP3 for Westbrook was absurd straight up, even worse with the trove of assets we added.
There is nothing to disagree IMO. It bothers me too but does not change the fact that Tilman is not someone who is keeping players against their will. He might be a mob boss wouldbe but he has not shown the inclination to have them gagged and on a leash against their will. It was just a matter of time CP3 broke free, just not for WB, for someone else. Just a few remarks to the championship contender tag, lol, you do not have a contender no more once a star player is feeling severely disgruntled. Once CP3 saw what a lifestyle Harden had in Houston, even his buddy Westbrook was nauseated by all the freedom Harden enjoyed, it was beyond what a player should do. Make no mistake, Harden was great but we died on that hill! Time to move on and move away, just play this Harden thing out and he hopefully will retire.
Sure would have been nice to somehow get SGA instead of Westbrook when trading away CP3. I know CP3 wasn't going back to the Clippers, but maybe in some kind of three team deal. Rebuild would be looking a lot more exciting right now. SGA played almost as well as Westbrick that season too.
I still think about the Harden-CP3 era if Butler decided to come to Houston to play with them instead of Miami. I do think that trio pulls it off, especially since the following two years CP3 was still playing like old CP3 that one year for OKC and his first year in PHX. Clear CP3 ain't even close to what he used to be these days but those two years seemed to be the last of the best he could give.
Bro Paul Harden Butter Tucker starting line would have beaten the warriors and Lebrons Cavs. The amount of nasty characters on that team would have been insane
The last thing this team needs is Blames Harden on it. Haven't you all had enough? How many more times can he screw this team over? His style of play will never lead a team anywhere because HE IS A SG WHO CAN PLAY PG. But he should only do it in spurts. He needs a PG who is a floor general next to him. Plus he is not a Udoka type of player. He will not commit to the defense on a nightly basis. So no to Hardhead.
Lol probably one of the worst times to post this nonsense. You don’t even understand the most basic part of harden and that being he’s clearly a pg. even a little kid can understand that. Congrats on embarrassing yourself
interesting how Embiid and the Sixers have their best chance to make the ECF since 2001 now that James Harden is there
Game 5 was a “good” game by Harden. Game 1 and 4 were legendary. lulz at those who called Game 1 & 4 just “good performances,” good games”.
