    True

But Garcia and Urquidy have both missed all of ONE start each, the rotation we have now is not the one we have had most of the year.

And my point is we can't afford for Brown to have 4 inning starts, especially now that we are down two more starters

I get most of what you are saying....but damn, with an offense that has struggled I hate Kyle Tucker getting the 5th or 6th most at bats, i'll just never understand that

As for Pena, he has hit

.350 with a 1.231 OPS batting second this year, .229 with a .670 in all other spots

    Small sample size? yes, so...

    last year he hit

.290 with a .837 OPS batting second, .235 wtih a .650 OPS batting anywhere else

The dude smashes batting in front of Yordan

    But whatever Dusty

I would fully agree with all of this if we didn't just lose Garcia and Urquidy, and have seen Brown struggle with his control in back to back starts

The truth is somewhere in between all of the gloom and doom posters and the posters who think the playoffs are still a given

There is still a great chance we make the playoffs, and if we do we have a better shot than anyone cause we have so many players that are proven on the big stage

But it's far from a given. The offense should be fine if Brantley and Altuve come back and perform like they did pre-injury. But we are running out Brown, Bielak and France instead of Verlander, Garcia and Urquidy....those two groups aren't the same

Agree, and while he was bad last night, the previous "terrible" game my Montero really wasn't, they hit a couple of weak ground balls that didn't turn into outs. Montero is the least of our worries

The 7th and 8th “best” OPS’s in the lineup tonight are batting 1st and 4th

    As if Ohtani needs help

Just throw Pena the sweeper and you’ll get him every time.

It's gonna take a miracle to score against Othani especially w/ this struggling, sputtering offense... Framber has to carry

Levels to this .. Framber is a no.1 .. Ohtani is an ace! Big difference especially when your offense sputtering.
