Do you beleive that saying ganging up on folks isn't how white people fight is a racist statement?

I'm at Farrell's in the Galleria with my grandparents about 4 years before Return of the Jedi came out when I watch that video

I got minor tears in my eyes and singing yubnub (you bet your ass I know the lyrics) having flashbacks to the ol' mall days.

I had a spiral notebook in the 4th grade with the cover showing the Emperor in the background smiling as Vader and Luke were clashing their lightsabers high above their heads. It was my writing journal. Man, I'd love to know what I wrote in that thing. And why the eff can I still remember that? :)

Is this thread going to be about my son leaving for the Navy, too? I'd like to take over a whole host of threads with that content. I know how Cucker Tarlson feels about our military. I'll hang up and listen.

For some reason, that reminds me of one of my favorite films. Here's an intro, followed by something everyone needs:

I’m sure I probably had one that year, but this was an actual spiral notebook. Not sure what I had for dinner last night, but I’m all in on that spiral till someone blocks me again in the Astros forum tongiht lol

You no longer have it? I still have stuff like that in a few boxes in my garage, if critters haven't feasted. Collected years ago from the "family castle" in Houston after my last parent passed away and we prepared for an estate sale, going through everything in the tops of closets, in my old bedroom and the like. It was crazy. I got rid of a lot, but some remains. Boxes I opened up and said, "I'm not going through this now. I'll do it later," and never really did.

Around 2003 or so I was mentoring a kid at a local elementary school. I showed up one day to talk to him and work on reading, and they were having the book fair. Man, I was about 8 years old again. I was like, “here, get this book…get this book…get that book!” One day I may grow up, Buck
