What is this coaching by Denver? PHX is getting the same shot every single possession. Malone needs to change it up.
CP3's groin won't be "healthy" again until August He will DNP the remainder of this series, and prob next series if PHX advances I said "healthy" because it will never be healthy again
They were forcing someone else to beat them. Shamet hasn't played much. Seems like the right call to me, he just made shots, sometimes that happens.
Oh snap!!!.. That was really the owner? I was wondering why Jokic had the audacity Instead of a lawsuit, there will be trash talk on Twitter
Getting burned one time? Fair enough. Leaving the dude who just drained a 3, wide open in the same corner two more times? That's a big mistake.
It's a calculated risk. It happens. They chose to double Booker or Durant, so they had to give up something. They targeted Shamet since he hasn't played much. I stand by thinking it was the right choice even though it didn't work out.
It's abnormal how much better Jokic is than Ayton. Dude made a top 5 center look like a Shanghai Sharks player. Ayton looked like he didn't even deserve to be on the same court with him. It was like of those annual charity football matches where they call ex world class players like Ronaldo, Carlos and some dude from Saudi Arabia because the match takes place in Saudi Arabia and someone has represent the country. Ayton is that dude from Saudi Arabia.
This series is the duel between Jokic and Booker. The difference is, Booker has Durant and Jokic has Murray. Murray is not on Durant's level. Denver has better role players. But they are not consistent. MPJ is disappointing so far. Gordon is kind of on and off.
Do u fire Mike Malone if the Nuggets were to somehow lose this series? There’s no excuse to lose a series to this PHX team, that would be a monumental failure.
Yes, Malone has been bad regardless. The level of shotmaking has been ridiculous though, a lot of shots were contested and Shamet beating you is no shame when you've had a hand up and the guys guarded KD & Booker the way they have. MPJ has to step up though, that transition 3 when down 5 with 2 minutes go was the worst possible decision he could've made. I knew right then and there this game is over. Just a dumb ****ing mistake. The guy relies too much on his length and athleticism. He doesn't bring much else. Gotta give credit to Booker, makes me even more excited about Green in the play-offs, and Jokic! What I will add is that referees missing a blatant arm grab on a jump ball is just unacceptable. There's 3 refs, one of them looking right at the play, a veteran who's name slips my mind right now but is known to be kind of fishy as well. Such a shame because right before they needed a freaking challenge on an obvious out of bounds off of Ayton. The ball would've gone another direction had Gordon touched it. Great series, still hoping for Denver, but man if they lose this year, changes are needed. I'd try to get everything I could for MPJ and fire Malone. Add some muscle to that bench, not Reggie freaking Jackson. Poor roster management as well. They didn't do anything significant at the deadline but trade away that PG with ego issues.
