There’s really no reason to use bWAR for anything now that Fangraphs has incorporated OAA in their fielding metrics. Fangraphs has Yordan providing about 3x the value of Dubon, which sounds reasonable.

Ain't going to lie. I did a little check on the Seattle forums after Yordan's bomb last night.

    It was hysterical.

    He is truly their dad.

WAR by itself is a very useful tool to compare a list of players sorted by WAR.

It was just their tone and harping on the "uncalled strike". They were picking themselves up off the pavement. It felt a little mopey. They will not...let...this...get...them...down...with some spicy talk about how good they think they are. We will see. Could be.

Aside from coaching a basketball practice today, I plan on devoting most of my hours towards developing jokes centered primarily around today’s starting pitcher being named France. You’re welcome.

2nd batter, bottom of the 1st, will be a France vs France matchup. There's a lot you can do with that.

Kinda sorta forgot the Kentucky Derby is on today, so that will occupy some time as well. Maybe I can fit it into the 5 hours of pre-race coverage.

I gotta go with Hit Show in honor of the Stros tonight and Rocket Can in honor of the Draft Lottery (Wemby is also a French so that has to mean something)

How to come up with a surrender/surrender scenario? Maybe intentional walk, where the batter argues the last pitch should have been called a strike and gets thrown out of the game?

In a France on France battle, my money is on the pitch clock.
