Nobody fails/comes up short in the playoffs at the level Harden does and it’s not even close. Every. Single. Year. Yeah sure he’s a great regular season player… that means fck all in the playoffs. Playoffs… where it truly matters and legacies are made.
You losers talk more about Harden than the Rockets lol, get help for real. You dont even watch Rockets games(dont see you in the game thread lol). You are front runners and you post more about Harden than the Rockets. Back on ignore.
I get why many of you want James back but you have to understand that it is mainly nostalgia. Rest assured things WON'T be the same IF Harden comes back. The Rockets are different, Harden is not the same player, new coaching staff, etc. Woj says a lot of trades should happen this off-season for teams trying to unload players, the ROCKETS ARE THE TEAM to watch this off-season. What a time to be a Rockets fan!!!
I agree with this mostly, but even a diminished Harden is better than what else is available. We have been crap as a team for 3 years, I'll take the young guns going to the playoffs for several years and then upgrading as needed when we unload Harden and are ready to compete for a championship.
At what cost? Do you really want to stunt Jalen Green's growth? This "kid" is barely 21, most players are finished products by age 23-24. Which presumably is when Harden won't be on the team anymore if we resign him to a three to four year deal. The Harden era is over bro. Remember we could still land Wemby. We need to set the right culture with these impressionable kids.
@jordnnnn be like it’s just bad luck. Replace him with Steph on the Warriors and he wins like 8 or 9 Championships. Speaking of which can we get an updated TS% for games 2 and 3?
It all matters because you play the 82 to get highest seed possible before going to the hyped up post-season, its just turns into best of 7 first to win 4 Legacies are made with both combined, its why outside of Boston nobody would have B Russell as GOAT because they would mention he only avg 15 or so PPG for his career(non postseason), but he has 11 rings which is almost double Jordan and if you count his NCAa legacy that is 13 rings in 15 seasons If the reg. season didn't matter they would just omit the 82 and just have a playoff season annually Well at least you admit he is a great reg. season player which means you just ''hate''' his bad postseason games that are more hyped up and put under a media hot take microscope, especially when you reach superstar level like Harden did in 8yrs with Htown, they did it to Bron before he joined Heat and they did it to KD before he joined Warriors, and Harden was on deck and went thru it And those are arguably the 3 best players impact / dominant wise of their era along with CP3 and the media protected darling chef Curry And CP3 is right there with Harden as coming up short in playoffs, especially with Clippers
I actually think Jalen Green's game will be helped and he will grow even more with Harden on the team. Now, setting the right culture is a good point, I'm counting on Ime to do that but it's a valid risk.
I knew someone had said that but decided not to bring it up because I didn't remember who and did not think anyone would be that stupid.
