roflmao, Fox sends cease-and-desist letter to Media Matters over leaked Tucker Carlson footage accoring to Fox's attorneys, “That unaired footage is Fox’s confidential intellectual property; Fox did not consent to its distribution or publication; and Fox does not consent to its further distribution or publication.” Angelo Carusone, president of Media Matters responded “reporting on newsworthy leaked material is a cornerstone of journalism. For Fox to argue otherwise is absurd and further dispels any pretense that they’re a news operation.” “Perhaps if I tell them that the footage came from a combination of WikiLeaks and Hunter Biden’s laptop, it will alleviate their concerns,” Carusone added.
Is it the NSA or is it the demons (that you believe are actual things)? What color hats do the demons wear, asking for a friend.
Wait so if you work for the NSA they actually monitor your text messages??? How outrageous.....said no one with a brain, you control security so yea, your texts and calls should be monitored, sorry ...., it goes with the job. People like Tucker are not bright enough to know their texts could actually come back to bite you in the butt.....like peddling false claims on TV to millions of duped followers.
if you think the executive branch should be able to spy on the legislative branch without a warrant, you are too far gone
Nice spin move Commodore, that's not what I said, what I said was that if you work for national security your texts and calls should be monitored, it goes with the job, nice try though to spin it to your narrative. For context, I have a work phone and if I was to do anything bad or went to a pron sight they would have every right to discipline me, I am not in the spy game but I do know that if I break a rule or law they can go back and look at what I said and where I have been.
Megyn shifting harder right after NBC shitcanned her for racially insensitive comments. Stay visible. Stay relevant. All aboard the Tuck train, Megyn!
LOL Brett Favre. Serious question - does it ever bother you that so many terrible people have the same belief system and support the same people that you do? I am not beating you up, I am just genuinely curious.
I am not Megyn Kelly apologist, but I don't think she should have been fired from NBC - she did not say anything wrong, and was factually accurate. She said when she was a child it was acceptable to wear brown or black face at Halloween as long as you were playing a character and not a real person. She was born in 1970, so she would be talking about the mid to late 1970's in Syracuse NY - and it was common place for kids to wear face paint. I remember for example a kid that in the very early 80's that dressed up as Lando from Star Wars and no one said anything.
Getting uncovered as a racist via one's own words as Tucker was, isn't really any reasonable definition of "winning at life".
To recap, the same comments she later apologized internally and admitted was racially insensitive. She deserves credit admitting where she overstepped. Low ratings and the loss of goodwill probably did her in. Believe it or not, winners do apologize. There's the caveat of being genuine and moving forward with it. I don't watch her new program, so I can't follow up with that bit. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/10/23/megyn-kelly-blackface-comments-934367 “People said that was racist,” Kelly said. “And I don’t know, I thought, like, ‘Who doesn’t love Diana Ross?’ She wants to look like Diana Ross for one day. I don’t know how that got racist on Halloween.” Kelly’s comments were met with swift disapproval on social media, where celebrities, journalists and many others pointed out the racist history of performers using blackface in minstrel shows to mock people of African descent. “I cannot believe the ignorance on this in 2018. You are on national television. You have a responsibility to educate yourself on social issues @megynkelly,” tweeted Padma Lakshmi. “This is so damaging.” Alex Wagner, the co-host of Showtime’s “The Circus” and an Atlantic contributing editor, tweeted, “I was born in the same decade as @megynkelly and do not recall blackface being acceptable anywhere, anytime.” By Tuesday afternoon, Kelly had sent an email to her NBC colleagues, apologizing. “Listening carefully to other points of view, including from friends and colleagues, is leading me to rethink my own views,” Kelly wrote, in part. “I realize now that such behavior is indeed wrong, and I am sorry. The history of blackface in our culture is abhorrent; the wounds too deep.” She added, “I’ve never been a ‘pc’ kind of person — but I understand that we do need to be more sensitive in this day and age. Particularly on race and ethnicity issues which, far from being healed, have been exacerbated in our politics over the past year.” This is not the former Fox News host’s first racially insensitive statement on the air. After NBC hired her, Slate labeled her a “racial demagogue,” for her focus on the New Black Panther Party, as well as her declaration that both Jesus and Santa Claus “were white.” Read Kelly’s full letter below: Dear friends & teammates- One of the wonderful things about my job is that I get the chance to express and hear a lot of opinions. Today is one of those days where listening carefully to other points of view, including from friends and colleagues, is leading me to rethink my own views. When we had the roundtable discussion earlier today about the controversy of making your face look like a different race as part of a Halloween costume, I suggested that this seemed okay if done as part of this holiday where people have the chance to make themselves look like others. The iconic Diana Ross came up as an example. To me, I thought, why would it be controversial for someone dressing up as Diana Ross to make herself look like this amazing woman as a way of honoring and respecting her? I realize now that such behavior is indeed wrong, and I am sorry. The history of blackface in our culture is abhorrent; the wounds too deep. I’ve never been a “pc” kind of person -- but I understand that we do need to be more sensitive in this day and age. Particularly on race and ethnicity issues which, far from being healed, have been exacerbated in our politics over the past year. This is a time for more understanding, love, sensitivity and honor, and I want to be part of that. I look forward to continuing that discussion. I’m honored to work with all of you every day. Love, Mk
