FanGraphs had a preseason projection of 0.300 wOBA (0.681 OPS). His 1st 7 games, 0.357 and 0.808. Since then, 0.300 wOBA (0.686 OPS). It is almost like he's a bad hitter that had a 7 game hot streak. His future performance can't take away those 7 games, but judging Dubon should be done on a much larger sample than 30 games. Almost every year there is someone that is incredibly hot (or cold) for a week or two at start of the season that it takes a while for their stats to regress that in the mean time people over rate.
I was a decent hitter in HS. I would swing and miss 1000 times in a row against that framber curve. I do not understand how anyone can hit that pitch.
If Bregman, Yordan, Abreu, Tucker are all not hitting at the same time, there's no hope for this offense.
