I'm actually friends with his Uncle. He hasn't exactly lit the world on fire since being drafted. But if Demeco sees something in him I'll trust his judgement.

Isn't Stingley an ED(CB)? Apparently ED is not a position, but a threat to get the QB. I've seen CB, LB and DT listed as EDGE.
EDGE is a DE or OLB that can come off edge of the defense and rush the QB. Will Anderson is a perfect example of an EDGE player. Never seen a CB listed as an EDGE but Stingley wouldn’t be one if there was.
Looks like Texans wanted smart, high character leaders. Shouldn't be any lack of effort from the team going forward.
It's also.... a giant bag of nothing. Who cares? I mean, really - did the Texans actually incorporate this into their drafting because, uhm.... talent should be their focus - not meaningless accolades that, honestly, don't really translate. If I were to start listing all the reasons I'm excited they drafted Will Anderson, "team captain" would be way down the list. I find this a really weird flex.
The Jets just signed Randall Cobb...should the Texans go after Denzel Mims? To my account they have 8 - 9 receivers on roster.
11 catches for 186 yards in 10 games last year? Whew I don't know. I know they had bad QB play but that doesn't sit right with me.
But look at his broken tackles on those catches last year. He could be a Deebo-lyte with little investment (like a conditional 2024 pick or late round round swap). I think Mims has Deebo-like tools, but maybe NJY didn't use him in that fashion. At the end of the day, I think he could probably be picked up on waivers. But it's possible that he does not fit culture of the team.
How do you look up broken tackles? Not sure how to get that info. Deebo is a running back playing WR. Not sure Mims is breaking the same type of tackles.
