I don’t see why this has to be construed into this being Memphis laying all the blame at Brooks’ feet. He’s a loud mouth. He is one of the most inefficient chuckers in the league and he’s now saying that he can and should be allowed to do more. He’s delusional and it doesn’t seem like he’s very susceptible to coaching. I guess they didn’t have to come right out and say it, but why should they want him back under any circumstance?

Yes, they have other problems (Ja Morant), but at least, Ja is talented. I want him to go to Brooklyn, so the value of our draft picks goes up. Didn't JJJ just sign an extension with them? Great player, but not a superstar, and I'm not sure how we get him without giving up somebody like Jabari and/or our draft pick, which isn't worth it IMO
If he hadn't embarrassed the team by talking crazy s**t and then hiding afterword he's still on the team, or at the least this statement isn't made and the split is relatively amicable. L's happen, sit there and take your medicine afterwords. He ran his mouth..a lot, then ducked questions, that's an elite frontrunning punk move.
