Imagine James handing out dimes for open 3's to KPJ and Jabari. Jalen would be on the top 10 plays every night. Hope Philly wins it all so his return would be more of a possibility. One of the GOATS.
It's pathetic that as rocket fans we saw Harden have these type of performance weekly and we still have people on this board talk **** about him.
This man deserves his ring. I thought Yao/Mac were cursed ... But this dude had to go against arguably the greatest team of all time and/or had his co-stars getting injured year after year. And he almost did it too.
this performance got me watching the talk shows for the 1st time since Harden vs Russ for MVP, and they’re saying Harden turned back the clock by 10 years
Maybe the number 13 really is unlucky. Since he's wearing 1 now, will it change his luck? Cuz I've never seen a guy who's second best player gets injured in the playoffs every single year like Harden. From Dwight to cp3 to Westbrook to Kd to Kyrie to Embiid. Can he get just 1 healthy run?
I always felt that hitting a few mid-range shots put him in better rhythm to hit his 3s more as well. I wish he mixed some in more in the 17-20 playoff years. This was a great performance but the Sixers had over a week off, so if Harden were to have a big game it's not surprising that it's after the long layoff. Harden's Achilles heel is his stamina which wears down as the series goes on usually. Def props to him though that was an incredible performance especially in his current state where he doesn't have that explosiveness he used to have.
just saying Houston Harden has been awol as of late. Partly what makes last night's performance so special
10? Try 2. lol Hardens Bballref game score last night : 32.7 By far the best of this year or last years playoffs for him. Just two years ago prior to getting hurt with Brooklyn against Boston he had game scores of 40.5 and 36.9 in games 3 and 5 with box scores of 41/7/10 and 34/10/10
last night was Harden’s best playoff game ever given the circumstances: on the road against a really good team without Embiid it reminded me of Harden’s game 2 against the Warriors in the 2015 WCF, except he actually pulled out the win this time
