I’ve brought up that trans people according to most studies only make up about 0.6% of the population. Out of that figure not all of those have actually transitioned. For many Americans they are unlikely to actually encounter a trans person. Yet we see with the constant parade of tweets and YouTube videos of extreme behavior or trans people behaving badly (which like any other group there are both good and bad). That somehow they represent a massive threat out to groom our children and completely modify society. Like many other campaigns targeting a specific group they’ve been made a bogeyman for stoke fear and for ideological purposes. This is very clear when Trans is conflated with Drag which they are not the same but lumped into a catchall of things requiring blanket bans and political stigma.
It's like having a fear of sharks living in Montana... and then being convinced by the Discovery channel that sharks should all be fished, and taken out of existence.
Like honestly there's a sht more things to worry about in our country. Religion being crammed down folks throat. Politicians scheming to overthrow our governments, being brought out by foreign power Gun triggered folks gunning folks down for the stupidest reasons Insulin prices are too high for folks to afford Supreme Court justices are not regulated and can b corrupted by big money, not to mentioned how bias it has become But here we have folks worrying about a small minority that most will probably never even encountered/have their life altered meeting

Sure not denying that there are folks that abuse the handicap spot, but that problem pales to the bigger things that we should focus on. Your QoL wouldn't b too impacted by these folk action unless u are triggered that they keep stealing your handicap spot
