I actually find those to be pretty good odds for the Texans and Stroud.

Stroud will be in the most friendly QB system...

    Texans also in easiest division.

Probably worth a few hundred on each.

I expect our rookie QB to struggle, as even great rookie QBs do (Aikman, P Manning, Joe Burrow).

Demeco is great for culture and energy, but I expect him to get outcoached by the other coaches in the division -- especially Pederson and Vrabel.

    We lack weapons on offense.

We still have holes on defense.

We are one of the youngest teams in the league.

Keeping it real here, we'd be doing very well to win 6 games.

If Damar touches the field, he'll win

Winning OROY and DROY would be amazing

Why do the "experts" on Vegas think Chicago will be better, but not the Texans. Are they CLUELESS?

Not saying it's justified but maybe more belief in their 2nd year qb?

I would be shocked if we’re picking in the top 5 again.

    1. They'll play one of the easiest schedules since they finished last in the division.

    2. They’ve added these quality starters this off-season… Dalton Schultz- TE, Shaq Mason-G, Sheldon Rankins-DT, Denzel Perryman-ILB, Jimmie Ward-S. Then throw in Stroud and Anderson. Then add in DeMeco. They might not be a good team this year, but they're almost certainly gonna be better than last year. Went 3-14 last year with 5 games decided by one TD or less. Odds are they are right around 6-7 wins this season with the capability of being 8-9 if stroud really develops quickly.

The following opponents are very beatable… Colts (x2), Titans (x2), Cardinals, Broncos, Bucs, Panthers, Falcons and Browns. If you win let’s say 5 of those 9, and then luck into another win or two here or there, you’re looking at roughly 6-7 wins. The Falcons won 7 games last year and picked at 8. I really don’t think it’s unrealistic to think we’ll be picking right around the 7-10 range.

Does anyone still take $2 bets? I drop a $20 with $6 on the Texans win the South and $2 on each of the rest.

I am not a big fan of Justin Fields. He is really exciting, but even Lamar Jackson to me seems a more polished thrower of the ball.

Fields seems to struggle reading defenses.
