Wow...he threw that helmet like he was disgusted. You can get tossed for 'unsportsmanlike conduct' tossing a helmet like that...especially if it bounces wrong and hits the first baseman. I should know...I was tossed from a game for that once. lol. Not my finest hour. I was ten years old or something. It hurt emotionally being tossed.
Are all our hitters running with weights on their ankles today? Seems like there should have been a few infield hits today.
They're playing especially lazy today. Tucker on the flyball on that tag up at home...Jake fielding on the hit that should've been a single instead of a double..everyone slow running to first...
This offense is back to being unwatchable. Wasn’t Wheeler atrocious on the road this season? Our hitters just seem to have no game plan at all—what good are the hitting coaches? Guys like Stotts and Bohm suddenly are hitting 330 and our guys peak at inconsistent at best
I still say we no longer have a #1 starting pitcher. I don't think anyone has particularly stepped up and taken it. And, I think that lack of leadership hurts our starting pitching staff. Somebody either has to firmly take #1 or we need to acquire #1 from outside.
