I still have faith he will get it together. He won't have an .850 ops but he will recover at some point.

 

Agree… but if he doesn’t it’s gonna be a long 3 years

 

You think if Maldy tries really hard this year he could get a sub .125 batting average?
I think he has the skill set and potential to pull it off.

 

Would not hurt so bad if you had Tuves and Brantley (professional hitter) and an Abreau that isn’t washed (hope he isn’t). Then you could eat that .125 and know your offense is still solid. But with 3 bats missing (essentiall) and I hate to say it, but Dubon is going to regress. So potentially 4 bats missing from your lineup you can’t have a Maldanado in there. Hell can we DH for him and just have Javier bat 9th. He could probably do better. At least lay a bunt down.

 

i hope the honeymoon phase with dubon, meyers, and julks is not over
