If we really don’t like any of the risky talented players at the top of the 4th, then I’m fine collecting a pick for next year. It’s also good to get some value if we’re planning to reach pretty hard anyway

Eagles 3rd in 2024 will likely be very late. So we traded an early 4th for a late 3rd. Nothing earth shattering.

When you consider comp picks after the 3rd round, we're likely moving up around 10-15 spots. This is also a fairly weak draft class, I'm fine with punting this to next year. Maybe the Eagles lose in the 1st round and you've moved up 20 spots.

My goodness Philly is dominating the defensive side of this draft. Like the move in a vacuum but we could’ve used Ringo too.

    So what!
If the Eagles want to get up for a player they have to pay a premium!
Or at least a decent return.
10-15 slots for a year's depreciation is HORRID VALUE!

I am SICK of seeing this man get SCREWED in virtually every trade he makes!

    He's like the Anti-Danny Ainge!!!

And another factor in this trade is that we overpaid by an entire late 1st rounder in the W. Anderson trade and also don't have a 3rd round pick next year.
Well he just replaced the 3rd with a bottom type 3rd.

But it still doesn't excuse getting sub-par value!
Like he seems to do almost EVERY TIME he makes a trade!

Ringo has the athleticism but HAS to work on his technique (eg. Early hip turns), if he fixes his technique - sure, it’s a great pick. But there’s work to do.

we could have controlled the draft next year, but instead we may have traded away next year’s #1 pick. There’s no way to spin that terrible trade up from #12-#3. Sick to my stomach

How you calculating 10-15 spots? Philly will be a title contender and have one of the last picks in the 3rd.

We needed a 3rd next year so use the 4th extra pick this year to turn that next year. We’re back now having a pick in every round next year.

Curious where we turn now. Rod Jon’s there, NW DE, or To’oTo’o too. A few solid WRs left too

Gave up a lot but I don’t see how the team controls the draft with the picks that were sent out. Whoever finishes in the top to get those QBs will control the draft.
