    Why are we bringing up a 27 year old guy who is batting .191 in AAA with a lifetime .252 minor league BA?

    I assume this is because of the stuff you mentioned about Diaz but damn this is some bs. I can't stand regular season Dusty, he is maddening.

    I get why they brought him. He was already on the 40 man. But why play him at DH. The point of him is to give guys a rest and still have a serviceable defense. No need to give guys a rest from DH.

    As @panamamyers mentioned, he was on the 40 (and was the only IF), and it allowed Dusty to have the option of Dubon in CF while Chas is on the IL

    He has done some version of this at least a few times this season. He has a bench player in the starting line up - as a DH.

    I don't get it at all - but in fairness, Baker was criticized a lot for playing Dubon, Julks and Meyers - and all three have played well.

    I'm still waiting to see how Dusty handles McCormick being available - is he going to be behind Dubon, Meyers and Julks?
