    Middleton isn't almost a superstar. He's barely an all-star.

I am concerned about Tilman Fertitta possibly being too impatient.

It doesn't. I'm getting this vibe that we are trading young pieces as well. I want good vets too

You get the #2 pick and Charlotte offers Lamelo. Do you do it?

    2 championship??

    I'll take it.

Sorry, but if the goal is to win it all, and the chance presents itself, you jump on it.
Sort out what happens next when it happens?

Lol Wemby only means the franchise is getting tons of money.

He will be a star or superstar in time but not right off the bat. Maybe like Banchero but Banchero did not lead any team to 40 wins in his first season either.

    I'm not sure I understand?

I was referencing the question the guy asked about "is 2 championships in the short term worth putting Wemby through a rebuild"

If that is the question, then I say yes, of course.

I don't get the idea why Rockets are pushing that hard for an injury prone and kinda king of empty stats?

You guys just tanked to get Green and then you're saying trade him for a random injury prone NBA player.

    It's absurd.

Ok, nobody is just giving you those 2 championships you understand that as well don't you.

It is going to be hard work.

Nothing about 2 championships is crying it will be achieved in the short term.

A lot of times it takes teams 10 or 20 years to just win one championship or go to the Finals once or twice.

Only Wemby and his rep, his personal team would know if he thinks Houston is the place to stay longer than his rookie contract.

I see it from the player's POV and not from a fan's POV.

Those 2 championships won't ever be as sweet as the first 2 in franchise history. Bought championships must leave such an empty feeling. It's a surface level victory unearned by the fandom. I'll take the long road with all the stressful ups and downs and the heartache/heartbreak to feel how sweet it is again in my lifetime.

This would really funny if it happened. I'd lose the little trust i have left on this front office.

Middleton has a $40.4 million player option for next year......he optioning out
for more money? No thanks.he is at a, "get injured often age."

I have Harden giving us a discount to come back where
his mom lives. $38 million year one....he is opting out of
$35 million for next year with Philly.

Supposedly we need a Point Guard......there you F' in go !!

Nobody is giving Middleton more money than that. If he opts out, it will be for more years at less annual salary.

I love all my children even the unplanned one. The goal is a championship, nothing more nothing less.
