    I like Green.

I like the idea of trading him for Jaylen Brown.

Green's value is at its peak right now.
He is coming off a 22ppg second season, and has room to improve yet.
The question is how much he can improve, and whether he will ever be even an average defensive player.
He will probably get the max in 2 years time, and one needs to be certain he is worth it.

To be honest, Sengun and Green are the most important and valuable pieces for a trade. You can trade Green nor Sengun but YOU HAVE TO GET REAL ASSETS for them.

And Khris Middleton is not that asset. Jaylen Brown could be.

Seriously y'all could come up with more original names than Mobert and Never Greeners.

He was VERY accurate for awhile, to the point that he was discussing rumors that WOJ wasn't discussing and the success rate was very high - or WOJ would report it later, closer to a trade happening.

However, that was 3-4 years ago, and he hasn't been as accurate since then and has had a couple of things that were reported, but not even possible under the CBA.

No. I think a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. If we can get a player that is currently at the level we hope our prospect becomes then we should consider it strongly.

The title of the thread isn’t even what Jake Fischer said. What does “address the idea of including Green in a trade” even mean? Completely shutting it down would also be addressing it if that’s what a coach asked. If they were really discussing a Green trade then that’s exactly how it would have been worded, not this weird vague language.

If they're not considering trading KPJ, it must be because his value is still a bag of Doritos or Stone is an even bigger idiot than i thought.

Harden didn't focus on conditioning which contributed to his decline. That's not an issue for most players. CP3 turns 38 next week and despite the long injury history handled his decline better than the younger Harden. Harden would have aged more gracefully if he didn't always party and come to camp out of shape.

IMO, Jaylen Brown is a tier 2 superstar, which is why I'd prefer to chase him in free agency rather than via trade. But he's never had his own team so I'm also not putting on cap on his potential. No one thought Jimmy Butler was a tier 1 star at 27 either. He was a secondary star to either Rose, KAT, or Embiid. Once he got his own team in Miami he had more success than any of them. Hell, he just took down mega star Giannis' team.

I like Green's potential. I see him as being like Booker or even better. Saying he's going to be a mega star like Giannis is presumptuous.

Watch brown in the playoffs. This guy is better than Tatum in big games. It’s insane how elite he plays in big games

About what? It's not news that people overrate Jalen Green despite his poor performance in his first 2 seasons.

If the Rockets actually could have gotten Jaylen Brown for Jalen Green, they'd have jumped on it. Boston would want more than that.

Green is currently persona non grata in NBA team and media circles right now because he is presented as a chucker who can only put up meaningless stats on a loser of a team. If someone believes (as I do) that he can be a very legitimate offensive weapon on a team that plays more meaningful basketball (something we will hopefully see much more of this year), then he is far from his trade value peak. If he were to put up 24-25 ppg this year on higher efficiency and the team won 35-ish games, he would be seen as a top 20 trade asset in the league just like that. I think those are not unreasonable outcomes.
