I just got diagnosed with adhd. Maybe kpj has basketball adhd. Play him for shorter bursts, give him fidgets on the bench, and make sure he's looking you in the eye as he repeats to you what he should be doing when he gets back out there. Don't forget the hug.

Did not follow him since day 1, but yes, I think we can all agree that Horford was more of a NBA defender since day 1.

    Mutual

Of course the team as a whole is pretty bad during the last three years of intentionally rebuilding, its why it should tickle most pink when others pump up a certain player as being the best on a 20 win team, when the truly untouchables would be the high lotto picks, and the one they traded couples picks to grab(AS)

Every players defense is an issue, they have to buy in collectively, same way offensively

Good thing that defense seems to be Udoka strong suit so at least a emphasis and structure will be put in place, and plenty of cap space to round out the roster with some vets

    Great post again!!

I see them having to trade Sengun, Porter, Tate, Nix, Garuba and possibly Christopher
    for better experienced players. Y

There is only one way for Alperen Sengün: Trade him to a Team, who got a coach who can develop player. Udoka is not this coach! Its sad, that you build a team who start to play basketball at least and now a new coach will destroy this develop. Sad what Udoka talked about Alpi!

    What are you talking about?

I have full trust in Udoka.

(not necessarily full trust in Stone)

Hey, Mann, we should at least give him a run with Udoka.

The upcoming draft will be big and crucial to see which position they draft players.

    Nonsense.

First of all, it means nothing. It's a new coach who has only seen a few video clips and who has been influenced by whatever non-sensical babble came from Stone.

Secondly, if it were to mean anything, it means we are looking for a more contrasting type of backup center than we currently have.

When I was first watching that clip, I got scared that he had forgotten Alpi in that list - would cause the forum to melt down, I bet..

mini-jokic is like "mini-me", right? I'd take offense if I was SOF

If Alpi play under 30 Minutes every game that will be a lost year for Alpi! Men lets talk about the right things: Alpi was not the problem why Houston lost so much games. Reason number 1 : KPJ thought he is Russel Westbrook and after his Injury he was a different player and he was strong. Reason number 2: Jabari Smith 70% of the seasons bad fg. Reason number 3 Jalen Greens bad fg and at least the bad team defense. You cant defend alone! I dont say that Alpi is the best defender but he was learning to dont be in foul trouble and he was personaly defending better and the team defense was also better. If someone think, that Houston got size problem, thats also not true! Houston is one of the best rebounding teams in the nba! So i dont know what Udoka want! If a coach talk like this about a player so if i where Alpi i dont want to play under this coach!

Sengun is part of the reason why we lost so many games, he started for us as the starting center no?

Can't take u seriously if u can blame everybody's fault for us losing but not the guy who started as our center, and i like sengun a lot.

Sengun has his weaknesses, but its not as bad as the haters who want to get rid of him keep making it seem.

I dont think he isn't the main culprit to blame but he also contributed, our offense sucks b/c we don't have a real pg. In a game where offense is king, if u have a sht offense, u will lose.

What's available thats better than Sengun is the question. Wemby, Scoot and maybe Amen? I'll take Sengun over everyone else. All 3 and D role players after that which you can find anywhere.

Translation: Sengun is not as big as jokic. jokic can't defend, so Sengun is even worse than jokic because he doesn't have size. Sengun will be benched or he definitely wants him traded.
