so casserio seems to think stroud “certainly has a lot of things to work on”, “a long way to go”, and coaches spent a lot of time on Stroud.

Backpedaling not two hours after the pick? Making it loud and clear this is not his pick?

We shouldn’t be in a hurry to play him. I’m hoping Case can start atleast the first 4 games (maybe more) before Stroud steps foot on the field. Demeco already said the QB we pick will not be pressured to lead right away.

yeah. I thought that was interesting. I think Cal wanted CJ and made it happen. If true, I hate when owners get involved in the operation. Draft day is notoriously NOT the day to dog a guy for his imperfections…and it being the second pick made nick’s comments utterly bizarre.

He's just echoing the things Stroud said about himself. I kind of like a player who talks about what they need to work on even when they are considered one of the best.

LOL.. what do you think he would have said about Richardson (who needs a TON of work) or Levis (who is free falling in this draft)

You know, I didn’t want him. But I can’t hate the pick. I am going to give him a shot until proven otherwise.

Well at least there will be a reason to actually root to win this year.

Clearly sounds like this was a Cal McNair pick and not a Nick Caserio pick. And we gave up an incredible amount of draft capital to move up for Will Anderson. This looks like a situation where Caserio wanted Will Anderson and McNair wanted a QB... and this was there way of appeasing both sides. Sure looks to me like an owner who was meddling... or even worse, trying to appease the vocal members of the fan base. Championship franchises do not behave this way.

Stroud is now a Texans. I look forward to his play and pray he is the one...especially the best QB this draft.

Cal mandated. Anderson was DeMeco mandated. Caserio resigns Monday.

I heard tonight that Stroud took the S2 test multiple times and bombed it every time. This wasn't a flukey, had-a-bad-day situation. Good Lord we are screwed.

Oh damn, we drafted him to be a test taker? We're screwed.

You got a 3rd round grade on Stroud? Or is it 4th?

He took it twice. The 2nd score was "MUCH BETTER" the 1st.

Not a fan at all but I will happily say I’m wrong if he plays well.

We will not be outsmarting anyone, that's for sure. QB or head coach. Why do we keep kowtowing to the most vocal, yet least intelligent parts of our fanbase? I don't get it.

Seriously and genuinely, who knew the slightest thing about the S2 test before this draft cycle? People wishing to make a point, which may or may not be a good point, are talking it up like it's been the industry standard for 60 years.
