I was joking with that poster.

I want CJ at 2 and Lukas Van Ness at 12

Even if they had 0 picks in this years draft I feel the Texans are in a better spot than they were last year, simply because of Demeco. If Caserio decides to leave or they get rid of him, even better.

The fact that the Texans are looking to trade up from 12 tells me they will be taking a QB.

I still think it'll be Stroud at 2 but it really depends on how they feel about the deals they are working on. If they are sure they can nab Levis or AR15 through trading up I bet they take Will Anderson.

Basically, if they take Stroud it means they are not likely to trade up but if they take Will Anderson then I'd expect a trade up.

I think in this draft it's risky though, so many teams looking for a QB they could all be gone by #10, so I think you really do just take your QB at 2 and hope your edge is there or to trade up for your edge.

lets me know that there are some real smart nfl talent evalutors in the league. I would never take a qb with bryce young physical traits at number 1. Without the alabama hype he is closer to teddy bridgewater/doug flutie than anything. Still can be a servicable player in the right sitatuon but not for a rebuilding team. The texans will not get a better chance than this to take a franchise qb. If im the texans i take anthony richardson and dont look back

I could see a world in which Anthony Richardson is there at 12... but gets traded (with another pick... 3rd or possibly conditional 2024) to BAL for Lamar Jackson.
    No sauces.
But I could see it happening.

No matter what the pick is going to be, people in here will be so mad haha, too many choices, and people "will stop being a fan" because of the #2 pick, with soo many opinions, and so many players.
Never seen so many variety of opinions in a draft, especially for the top 3 picks.

How will the media spin this as a negative for the Texans if they go Anderson and Stroud B2B?

Getting the #3 pick eliminates any doubt on who we should've drafted at #2 and honestly it's the perfect way to get the remaining fanbase back on the Texans train again. Would be a home run regardless if these picks bombed.

If you're trying to trade back up, you have to go Stroud at 2, to lessen the suitors of the 3rd pick. I agree with Lance.

To go Anderson at 2 and then try to trade back up for Stroud at 3 is pure idiocy.

The Texans are rumored to have no confidence in taking a QB at 2 but think they can get great value taking two guys at 2 and 3 while losing the remainder of our good picks this year or next year to trade up. But taking a QB at 2 and another guy at 12 while keeping all our picks is somehow crazy to them. It’s about as idiotic as one can get strategically

Q - AJ McCarron had a great career with Bama, two championships, 2nd in the Heisman, great measureables. He HAD Bama hype and got drafted in the 6th? Why!

They are reportedly trying to grab the 3rd pick.

Only logical reason is if they really like the QB at 2.

They can still pick Stroud and trade up for Wilson who will probably fall in this draft due to his feet.

dream scenario would be Richardson and Anderson with first two picks, but very risky

Anderson and Levis is best case scenario. Then Anderson and AR.
    If we don’t get Bryce
