Nobody "knows" what the Texans are going to do, but deep down I think we all know what they will do. Tyree Wilson, baby!
He has a chance to be better than Anderson. Tape is actually sick when he isn't a second late off the snap. Has real game wrecker power. Anderson reminds me so much of Whitney Mercilus its kind of a turnoff... but we will see.
2) Will Anderson Jr., OLB, Alabama I struggled with what to do here. Are the Texans really going to pass up a quarterback here? Will they trot out Davis Mills again next season? Could they find a veteran passer via trade (or take one with their other first-rounder?) I'm hearing Houston will take an edge rusher, either Anderson or Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech), unless it throws everyone a curveball. I like Anderson much more than Wilson, and that's the direction I'd go. 12) Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida I'm going to re-do some of this mock draft based on new intel, and it starts with Richardson to Houston. If he makes it to No. 12, I think he could be the pick. The Texans could get their edge rusher and their quarterback in the top 12.
I would be happy with this. I do see a scenario that Anthony Richardson becomes a top QB in this league. There will be a lot of growing pains in the first year, but the talent and tape are what they are. Best QB in the draft potential. Big Bust potential too...
I'm going to trust whoever Ryans wants. Anderson has a Justin Houston type career. Wilson has a chance to have a Cam Jordan type career if he can stay healthy.
Anderson at 2 then trade up for Stroud or AR15 If you would of told me 2 years ago we would have Stingley AND Anderson on our defense I would of laughed in your face
His back shoulder throws to both sides of the field are gorgeous. Give this kid time to throw the ball and Texans fans will be rejoicing week in and week out.
