Pats Rumor: They brought in Levis late, this may be them trying to move ahead of Colts to get him. I think making a trade like this with his former team is fastest way for him to hit the unemployment line. Pass! Mid-level QB: Don't sleep on Jaren Hall. Older kid--25. I like how he delivers the ball, he's got a nice stroke, can run a little and good TD/INT ratio... https://www.deseret.com/2023/4/24/23691767/who-is-2023-nfl-draft-prospect-quarterback-jaren-hall Late round guy: Tyson Bagent is intriguing physically, but played Div II and needs some work mechanically. Has thrown a ton of passes as a 4-year starter. Maybe he could be our Mr. Irrelevant. Only 22 and could be a developmental guy even if we take a QB early.
I think we should take a second QB late (after the one in the first), and I would love for that to be Bagent.
Darn! My hope of LaPorta in the 3rd seems to be dwindling! Maybe Luke Schoonmaker in the late 3rd-4th and/or Josh Whyle in the 6th.
Yeah, I like this TE class a whole hell of alot, but I just don't see the Texans paying the premiums for one in this class. I think the weakened talent level at other spots is pushing the "value" picks from earlier draft grades into where they probably should be drafted.
QBs might fall but I can see TEN spoiling the Texans plans if we try and wait till pick 12 to take a qb
If they make the Jones trade then they will have the ammo to move up to 1-3 for a Anderson and still have a 1st to solve the center problem.
TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! ...that we stop arguing about what we should do and transition to arguing about what we did.
One reason I have little faith in the book odds is they reflect the consensus rather than having actual information.
