How did the Texans end up with picks 2 and 3?

Stroud will set this franchise way back. Worst possible outcome

    We give up #12, 33, 73 and a 3rd next year for #3.

Don't like this draft/trade AT ALL!!!

I'd take Seattle's 2 picks over ours every day!
If theirs goes down like that they could end up with the 2 best players out of the draft!

And after listening to Wade Smith's opinion on W. Anderson I'm wary about him and wouldn't give up 4 PREMIUM picks for him!

Hoping this is just DJ spitballing instead of reading the "tea leaves"!

Trying to decide which draft/trade I would hate more between this one and the Mac Jones trade.

I'm starting to REALLY worry now! lol

To be honest, with question marks surrounding the remaining top 3 QB's, Jalen Carters character issues, Will Anderson's upside, and with Tyree Wilson concern about his lisfranc injury, I would not mind looking at CB or G. Witherspoon, Gonzalez, and Skoronski are going to be studs and don't have the red flag issues of the others listed above.

100% Mayer is legit - all around TE! Not the unicorn if Kyle Pitts but will be very good.

    I don't think it's that bad tbh.

12 is just a swap, 33 is a 2nd round pick but would you rather have Anderson or some edge in the 2nd round?

    73 is whatever.

I like that deal, we're working with a surplus and if they feel that highly of Stroud and Anderson then I'd do that.

I’d do it, especially if Slowik believes in Mac.

Ya value wise I’m all over that. Not sure Arizona takes it though.

    If Bryce isn’t there….

I think I go will Anderson at #2 and then Richardson at #12 or move up to get him.

who knows maybe they go after lance or Lamar after all, everything has been kept hush.

We could definitely use a/another stud corner.
I like Witherspoon, Banks and Forbes in the first 2 rounds.
With Skoronski he may have to play guard (short arms) but should be good/great.
Do you invest that high a pick in a zone blocking guard?

Yeah I haven't compared the draft value chart but it looks fairly even point wise.
I just don't want Stroud at all and like I said Wade Smith has given me pause on W. Anderson so it's really the players I don't like on that trade, not the compensation value.

Slow the roll on these Mac Jones trade rumors unless you nix the Mac Jones part of the trade and replace it with significantly more attractive draft capital

If you guarantee me Will McDonald IV is there at 2-33 then I'll take him and #12, 73 and next years 3rd EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK!
