    Just curious to see what the fan consensus is as our first pick. I'm undecided to be honest at this point. I just hope whoever we pick becomes lives up to the hype.

    I'd rather have Davis Mills and a STOUT defense than a rookie QB without enough talent surrounding him. I think a Year 3 Davis Mills + some added weapons on offense and two rookie playmakers on defense wins 3-4 more games than a team led by a rookie QB and without those defensive playmakers.

    What makes you think someone would give up 3 first round picks? I could see someone trying to take advantage of our dumbass management on a trade. Bijan might go sooner than #12 actually.

    I voted Anderson solely because I don't think Young or Stroud are serious options at this point. Of the players the Texans are likely to take at 2, Anderson seems like the surest thing. He doesn't have the measurables of Wilson, but he's got the college production and the intanbigles, and his floor should be incredibly high. Whoever they draft at 2 needs to be an impact player, and Anderson's probably the safest pick at the top to accomplish that.

    I don't see why Stroud isn't a serious option. I am torn really. Anderson or Wilson would be great additions to our defense.

    I'm just basing that on the media reports stating the Texans won't take him at 2. Not saying I don't think he should be seriously considered there, only that Houston doesn't seem to have any interest in drafting him.

    It would be hilarious, though, if after all of this they just end up drafting Stroud.

    B. Trade with Indy to grab some capital and take one of Anderson/Wilson
    IND gets #2, #203, 2024 CLE 24 4th rounder
    HOU gets #4, #35, 2024 IND 24 2nd rounder

    Is that too steep?
