Some folks can't just b happy that we have a coach that can unlock senguns potential.

After wasting two years of silas favoring kpj, this Is refreshing news.

 

Just defensively speaking, Horford @ age 34 and Sengun are comparable in speed. They have about the same wingspan. They also tend to get 70 steals/ 70 blocks a season.
Horford just knows where to go, knows where the opposing offense is going to set the screen before it materializes.
High IQ and experience. (Alpi understands angles from his passing so it's something he can learn as he gets older)



And even with Horford having that telepathy superpower down, he still gets got: I just charge it to the game, it happens. That's how the league wants it. It just looks worse when the whole f'n team doesn't seem to put all out focus on the defensive end.



On our horrific transition defense, Coach Nurse said it best, if we didn't miss so many threes, we would be much better.

I really wonder how did we go from "Nurse is a defensive minded coach and will unlock Sengun's potential by holding him responsible" to "Sengun is gone" after this hire. Isn't Udoka a defensive coach? The reality is some people here are so impatient that i'm pretty sure they come first in bed

Udoka’s entire offensive philosophy is about sharing the ball, so why the hell would we trade the best passer on the team?

 

Udoka is also a defensive coach. Why would he want a bottom 3 defender at the position

 

I wanted Udoka because I feel like he'd be ready to split KPJ's lip if he ever acted the way he has in the past.

Then he must want to get rid of the entire roster because there were no plus defenders in the starting lineup. Getting the best out of players is why he’s here.

 

No matter who we get (players or coaches) there’s people who never going to be happy.

 

Well yea, harden being a good example when he was here. U think he was a bum player with the amount of btching from some folks when he was with us.
